I first thought the Story Bridge had a special story behind its name — turns out, the bridge is the story! It looks completely different by day and night. In the daytime, its steel structure stands tall and impressive; by night, the lights and the lively atmosphere from nearby bars and restaurants bring it to life. Walking across it, we each ended up with our own little “story” to tell!

🌉 Story Bridge – A Must-See Brisbane Landmark The Story Bridge stands as one of Brisbane’s most iconic landmarks, offering both a rich history and breathtaking views of the city. Spanning the Brisbane River, this heritage-listed structure connects Kangaroo Point to Fortitude Valley, making it a central feature of the city’s skyline. ⸻ 🧗 Adventure Climb – An Unforgettable Experience For those seeking adventure, the Story Bridge Adventure Climb is a unique opportunity to scale one of the world’s few climbable bridges. Operated by Howard Smith Wharves, this guided climb offers panoramic 360° views of Brisbane, from the Glass House Mountains in the north to Moreton Bay in the east and the Scenic Rim in the south . The climb is family-friendly, welcoming participants aged 6 and up, and provides a safe and exhilarating experience for all ages . ⸻ 📸 Photography Tips While personal cameras are not permitted during the climb, professional photos are available for purchase, capturing both individual and scenic shots. This is a great way to remember your adventure and share the experience with friends and family. ⸻ 🛍️ Nearby Attractions After your climb, explore the vibrant Howard Smith Wharves precinct. Located at the base of the bridge, this area boasts a variety of dining options, bars, and event spaces, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the riverside atmosphere. ⸻ ✅ Final Thoughts Whether you’re an adrenaline enthusiast or someone looking to experience Brisbane from a new perspective, the Story Bridge Adventure Climb is a must-do. It’s not just about the climb; it’s about immersing yourself in the city’s history and enjoying unparalleled views.

One of the iconic bridges to see in Brisbane. Highly recommended seeing the bridge by riding a ferry and see it during the sunset to see the lights from the bridge. It is very stunning and it highlights the icon of Brisbane. it is located near the city and you can get here by bus or ferry from the city.

Both Day and Night is extremely spectacular. Unfortunately, the footpath on it is still closed for now, or I would’ve drove my e-bike on it, and it would probably be one of the best experiences I’ve had in Australia. With that being said, go visit urself.
