Story Coffee

Had such a lovely brunch at Story Coffee today The waitress was honestly so sweet and attentive she made us feel really welcome, and the whole team had such a warm, friendly vibe. We tried the cortado and filter coffee, both super smooth and really enjoyable. The Turkish poached egg is definitely a must-try, and the mushroom cheese toast was absolutely delicious too. Great coffee, amazing brunch, and genuinely lovely staff will definitely be coming back!

Consistent and tasty coffee, friendly service from barista, solid food selection. Always a nice little stop when I'm around Wandsworth. Would recommend the fudge brownie and basque cheesecake. Indulgent but light at the same time. Filter or flat white is my go to drink of choice. The latte art their barista pull is top notch too.

I have been coming here for no less than 3 years, almost every weekend and it’s one of my favorite places in London. I love the coffee, the food is incredible and the atmosphere is so so nice. Extra points as well for the playlist cause the music is top tier!!!

I visited this café a week ago, and I still remember how I left frustrated and angry about how everything turned out. The café was relatively empty when I arrived, with plenty of available seats, yet I was told that laptops weren’t allowed after I paid. I spent nearly £20 there, so being restricted from using my laptop was extremely frustrating and felt unreasonable. The matcha I ordered was very watery, definitely not worth the price, and the French toast, while beautifully presented, didn’t taste great. The sauce was underwhelming, and tasted very heavy. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this café at all. The atmosphere, food, and policies didn’t justify the price or the experience.

This is my favourite place to have turkish eggs in the area, and we would love to go more. But there are two things that really bug me (1) website to order food from COVID times: it is NOT ACCEPTABLE to keep this up, super annoying, it crashes and you cannot split the bill with friends, i want to be able to order to a person and pay by card (2) the tables are SUPER SMALL, its uncomfortable and you cant even fit what you order on the table. Every time i go there i swear to never go again because the whole experience of ordering is so stressful. I have tried ordering in person instead and they always mess it up. If you want to serve food then offer proper service, and if not, stick to coffee!

Gordon Ramsey recommended this spot on a reel I saw on instagram and boy was he right. My friend and I ordered hot drinks and brunch. Everything was absolutely fantastic! Best oat milk flat white and matcha latte we have ever had. The Turkish eggs were unreal - best I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant - the addition of avocado was so good and the chilli oil I would buy if they sold it. The scrambled egg with crème fraiche was also delicious, and both meals were served with fresh sourdough. Meals were such good value for money. Cannot recommend enough!!!

Story Cafe in Wandsworth is a must-visit for coffee lovers. Trendy, upscale, and right by the water with a great vibe. And opens early! The coffee is brewed to perfection, and they even have their own merch. Definitely worth a stop!
