Story Hotel Studio Malmö - JDV by Hyatt

Great location - easy walk to train station, restaurants, even Malmo’s beautiful library.||||Slick room decor, huge view of the harbor and lighthouse, roomy bath. ||Housekeeping staff was top notch, friendly and accommodating.||||At check-in staff made an excellent restaurant suggestion with multiple dining choices. All within easy reach. ||||The building that the Hyatt Story is located in is multi purpose. The entrance area has a restaurant, office space, a clever stairway that provides seating. Our personal favorite was the PingPong table available for guest use :)

We stayed for 5x nights and we had a wonderful stay. We had an ocean view room, which provided a lovely vista over the harbour and out to sea. The room was compact, but very comfortable, my only slight criticism was the really soft pillows, I know I'm picky! The breakfast had a great selection and was only really busy on Saturday morning. The location is ideal for the Central station and the city itself. There's also a Craft Brewery Tap Room, Hyllie Bryggeri, no more than 5mins walk away 😁🍻

We enjoyed staying there. The view was amazing. Breakfast was nice with a great view. Friendly and helpful staff. If I visit Malmö again, this would be our first choice to try and get a room.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They graciously upgraded our room for explorist status. The ladies who checked us in and out were super nice and friendly. The breakfast is great with an amazing view. Location is great with 5min walk to the central station. Excellent value for the money.

Very unfriendly and non-service minded front desk staff. Reminded me of my trips to Soviet Union. The hotel lists itself as pet allowed on Booking.com, but you have to make an extra special request for a pet, which we failed to notice. When we arrived with our non-allergic dog, the staff made no effort to find us another room and just took our 2500 SEK. Nice scam!

Short stay but excellent hotel! All staff were so friendly and welcoming with all the facilities that we needed. Room was clean and bed was really comfortable. Right in the heart of Malmo so very easy access from the train station and hotel provided luggage storage so we could enjoy our last day without extra bags.

Location: Centrally located near Malmo Central Station, around 7 mins walk. Hotel faces the sea harbour thus views are decent, especially for rooms directly facing the sea.||Room: Rooms are located between 10 to 13 floors. We were allocated a room on the 10th floor which we believe is the handicap room as our toilet was quite spacious with handicap bars fitted. The only complaint is the shower partition which does not adequately prevent the water from splashing around (not sure if its a handicap toilet feature).||Food: Breakfast was included and it came with a view on the top 14th floor. Mainly western breakfast with an adequate selection. Taste was ok. In the evening, the place transforms into a Japanese dining bar and we only tried the sushi which we felt the taste was mediocre, being Asians ourselves.||Service: Reception was friendly and provided us with a SEK100 voucher to be used at the Japanese dining bar as a perk for being a Hyatt Explorist member.

Very good hotel, outstanding view of the harbour soft pillows and large bed. Nice and welcoming staff, good skybar and breakfast are also served there. Also what you need :) ||Very good distance to the city, only 10 minutes to bars and restaurants.
