Story Parlor

I took and Improv class there during Improv Fest. That was the first time I have been there. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside. It was cozy and made for a nice environment for the class which had 12 people. The acoustics were very good. The artsiness of the space made the class feel very special. The only downside is that parking can be a challenge. You will always find parking either in the paid lots or on the street. My advice is to get there a little early to find a space.

My husband and I stumbled into this gem while on our honeymoon and saw the Scottish Show. We were so captivated by the performance and felt like we were transported back in time. The violinist and singer were outstanding! I loved the vibe of this place, very intimate and felt like a parlor for story time for sure. The seats were set up like a small theatre, and there were tables and chairs on the second floor as well. Everyone was fully engrossed in the performance. The owner Erin is awesome! She chatted with us for a bit and even gave us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon. Few places can do this unique vibe of music, art, and drinks in an intimate setting right. One of the most memorable nights of our honeymoon!

We rented Story Parlor for our holiday party and it was *PERFECT*. So reasonably priced. The whole rental process was really clear and dialed in. We lent us a bartender for the event, Megan, who was so helpful and accommodating in helping us set up and break down from the party. The event felt warm, inviting, and cozy thanks to the Story Parlor vibe. We loved it and highly recommend!

Story Paor is amazing. The quality of the events and classes there are top notch. If you have an opportunity to go to either, you'd be a fool to miss it!
