We visited this restaurant for the first time with my husband and were absolutely delighted!!! From Friday to Sunday, as well as on holidays, the menu only offers mezze, but it turned out to be simply amazing – words can’t describe it, you have to try it!!! We were served five different dishes – incredibly delicious, traditional, and beautifully presented!!! The service was top-notch, and the staff was very attentive!!! On weekends, they have live music, which makes the atmosphere even cozier!!! We definitely recommend it!!!

A simply wonderful restaurant. An a la carte menu (Meze) that left us stunned. Starting from the special first courses through wonderful main courses and a dessert that was just right. Excellent wines and an inviting atmosphere. Thank you, we had a great time!!

Always providing local products, Kyr Yiannis wine, and the ability to stay in the lovely guest houses. Each dish has its own signature of the tavern and doesn't feel like meze dishes at all. Hospitality combined with the atmosphere makes the perfect getaway to Kyr Yiannis! Totally recommend if you are planning on going to Omodos village! (always book ahead since it's fully booked every week)

Recommendation! We spent our mothers birthday there and had a great experience! The really good Food was delicious and only topped by their great wine which has a rich body and have really fine aromas. They have an awesome Service and the ambiente is very beautiful.

I spotted the place while walking around town and decided to have lunch here. I did not check the place on any reviewing system, but I went in being certain that I would have nice food. From the first minute in, I felt welcome and well looked after by the staff. All of them are very polite and well trained which makes it for even better time when enjoying their delicious food. We decided to have the Mini Meze, which require minimum of two people, but price is per head, not for sharing. If you are 4 at the table eating Meze, you will be charged 4 times... that is the system and no reason to complain about it. Some may think it is unfair, but it would be childish to complain about it. I'm 6" tall, 225 pounds and for the first time in a long time I was unable to finish everything they served us. The stuff offered us a takeaway tray just in case we would like to pack up and enjoy the rest of the food later. Awesome! About the food. I think I could give some hints here, but no words will perfectly describe how good the food is. Salad is amazing. Fresh crunchy leaves dressing made from yummy olive oil, other tasty ingredients and a smooth cut of Feta cheese complementing the taste. Busket of warm fresh bread comes with a tray of homemade deeps. A tray with 3 different flavours... beetroot was my favourite. We we also served a taste of sausage... also halumi wrapped by sesame seeds and honey. Next, we were served with an black truffle creammy Mediterranean pasta as well as some pastry filled with a mix of egg and veggie... my first time trying it. Yummy! At this point I'm full and there comes the main course. Two big chunks of Lamb and chicken kebab. I saw the picture of this dish at the menu outside and thought it was just to make it look nice, but that is the real thing. Dessert was a tray of fresh sliced fruits: pear, pomegranate and orange. Drink was a bottle of house wine equally nice. At last we drunk Cyprus Coffee. Thanks for the amazing food!

If I can give this six stars, I would. You would think that Sam was the owner on this restaurant by the care, consideration and attention he provided us as our server. The atmosphere was absolutely charming with relics of the original building hanging on the walls (And the AC was very welcomed on an extremely hot day). The food was to die for. We got the mini mezze platter, Which was the most spectacular and delicious display of Cypriot food we had on the island. The chicken and pork crackle was something else. What made the experience so special however was how kind and attentive the staff was. I I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We had Meze and it was more than great. For the quantity and quality of food you got, the price was more than fair (really cheap actually)! Thank you for the amazing experience
