Visited here with my boyfriend for three days in May and had the best three days ever! ||Arriving at the hotel was easy, just a 20 Minute walk from Central Station, the hotel is located in a quiet suburban area. We were welcomed by the staff and shown around the building, including how to use the secure entry to the building. ||The rooms are modern, spacious and minimalist, concrete floors, brass rainfall shower and metal wardrobes. I took photos of all the interiors as it was to die for. The beds were very comfy and Aesop toiletries were included which was a lovely surprise. Slippers and a safe also included in the room as well as a Nespresso coffee maker. There was a fridge, kettle and cutlery also should you wish to bring your own food back to the room. ||We did not have breakfast at the hotel, Bakers & Roasters is a short walk away and do a lovely breakfast. You are also around a 20 Minute walk from the central areas of Amsterdam so you are never too far away from a meal. The bar on the corner of the road (apologies I cannot remember the name) next to Bakers & Roasters was also a lovely spot next to the canal to sit with a glass of La Chouffe beer in the sun. ||Artis Zoo is a 10 Minute walk away and is well worth a visit -beautiful surroundings and well kept animals. We also visited the Heineken Experience and Moco Museum for the Banksy exhibition. A few bars worth trying are Hannekes Boom next to the canal near Nemo science museum and also Cafe Hoppe in the centre. Brouwerij 't IJ is a short walk away next to a windmill - the five beer taster is a must!||This hotel is a real gem and we will be recommending it to everyone we know. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!
