We went here after reading all the great reviews. We had toasted brioche and omelette with goats cheese and tomato which came with 2 pieces of toast as well as a latte. The toasted brioche was so stale and tasteless even with butter and jam it was terrible. The omelette was overcooked making it quite firm and the toast was also stale and very under toasted. Coffee I rate a 2 as it was like a warm glass of milk with a hint of coffee. On a positive note the staff were wonderful and very attentive, ashame the food wasn’t. Not sure if they have new chefs since last lot of reviews we read but definitely won’t be going back here.

Google
American in Paris - breakfast is delicious- cafe Americano filled with flavor, relaxed Parisian atmosphere, waitresses spoke English (very well) - if you are in walking g distance this is must !

Google
Very friendly atmosphere and tasty home made cakes. Pain perdu 😋 Nobody rushes to leave the place even after you finished eating (sometimes it happens in Paris).

Google
Amazing food, service and atmosphere! I took the French toast and it was like eating a delicious cloud. So fluffy and gentle! Would love to come back here

Google
The place to be for good coffee and a simple but delicious breakfast. We had the pain perdu and omlette with kimchi, a must try! Coffee is affordable, 4 euro for a large size cappuccino. It is very noisy inside, the bar was crowded when we visited so it was loud. Might be more calm after lunch time. Would recommend!

Google
Super cute place. We had such an yummy breakfast and delicious coffee here. The stuff also is super open, kind and funny. Will definitely come back 🧡

Google
Very nice place for breakfast/brunch/lunch or just a coffee. I really liked the atmosphere, especially that they had a temporary photography exhibition. We got yummy food for a good price, I recommend the grilled cheese. The vibe is very relaxed and the staff is kind and helpful. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop by!

Google
This place was my last proper stop in France at the end of a long trip. I'm so glad this is where we capped it off. The service was friendly and helpful, and the offerings were very good. We got the feta omelette, French toast, juice, coffee, and a croissant. Everything was delicious! And the vibe inside, as locals sit and chat, working on their laptops or studying, it felt really nice to just sit and take it easy here.

Christina S.

Yelp
Went here three times on my visit to Paris! Everything was incredible. Get the feta basil omelette it's simple perfection. The French toast had passion fruit, peaches, and strawberry's and WOW WOW WOW so good. Everyone who worked there was super nice and if you're English it's no trouble

Yelp
best omelette i have ever had in my life. the outside seating is gorgeous of course. some staff speaks english. you have to pay at register after you eat. i recommend coming for breakfast or brunch.

Nicole T.

Yelp
So far on our trip this has been the best breakfast! Service was fantastic very friendly and they speak English. The restaurant is super cute design.

Sabrina A.

Yelp
Came across this place while walking around Paris and it was incredible. It was quite busy but we were able to find a spot outside to sit. It was lovely. The cappuccinos were perfect and the design was beautiful.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good cappuccinos and the best breakfast we had on our trip. The goat cheese omelette was so fluffy and the Pain perdu was just wonderful. The passionfruit on the french toast was such a nice touch that worked really well with the coconut cream and pomegranate. Friendly and quick service. The place itself had a fun vibe and some good artwork.

Yelp
The cafe was full when we arrived, so the server rearranged folks so we could have a table. How nice is that! The food and coffee drinks were great. Beautiful inside too. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. We loved it so much we came a second time. Their french toast is a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Their grilled cheese is so savory; their breakfast sandwich was on point (crispy, toasty, pancetta-egg -cheesy goodness!). Their fresh-pressed juices were amazing as well. Excellent customer service, excellent quality of food. If you're in Paris we reccommend you give it a try!!!

Yelp
Very good food! Simple omelette breakfast with really good service. Will comeback if ever in Paris again.

Robert R.

Yelp
This was an excellent place for lunch. The food was great and the staff were super helpful. We sat outside on a beautiful day and watched the world go by while we enjoyed our meals.

Meg W.

Yelp
Great banana bread ! Not too sweet, just perfect. Toast with fruit was a little too sweet for me but that is a personal preference, it was still very yummy. Would recommend !

Satish K.

Yelp
Excellent French press coffee, flat white, omelette, great customer service and ambiance! We as tourist, family of 4, had great morning breakfast here!

Carmencita S.

Yelp
I really liked the place. Good food and great coffee!! The service is friendly and fast despite the fact that I don't speak French. We sat outside to enjoy a Morning in Paris.
google avatar

Krystal W.

Yelp
Super friendly! We've gone in twice and had great coffee both times. I've gotten a flat white both times which have been really great, and my fiance got a pour over and an aeropress.

Yelp
My husband and I stumbled across this place as we were out walking to another place for brunch. As we walked past Strada, we couldn't help but stop and check out the menu because the smell of the food was amazing. We decided to come here instead and we are so happy we did. It's by far one of the best meals we've had with some of the friendliest and most helpful servers ever. From the cappuccinos to the scrambled eggs and french toast- we were beyond impressed. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Was looking for a cafe that offered wi-fi access near the Sorbonne and ran across this spot. Very chill space with nice folk who also spoke English. They didn't serve chai tea but they were able to make something similar which was pretty tasty. Liked that the location was close to a couple record shops that were in the area as well.

Yelp
Strong espresso made for the best cappuccino I've had in Paris. This place is up there with my favorite coffee shops in Paris for the all around good vibes. Friendly staff, plenty of seating inside, and a few tables outside. Did I mention the espresso is on point?

Mimosa A.

Yelp
The place is tiny and adorable. Food is delicious - I had the breakfast sandwich, which is open face with poached eggs. Comes with salad. Coffee is also very good. Clearly this is a place enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Only downside - internet was un-usably slow. They don't bill themselves as an internet cafe, so it's fair, but based on reviews, I did go expecting to be able to work. So that was disappointing. Overall, great spot if you are in the area!

Yelp
Randomly chanced upon this neat cafe and went in. Wasn't disappointed as it was really a serious coffee place with different blends, filter, etc. got the cappuccino upon recommendation with the Strada blend and was pretty decent (sorry we have been spoilt by best coffees of Australian cafes so standards are high and hard to beat). Also had a walnut loaf with chocolate. Was pretty good and very generous hunk was given for €4. They also serve fresh juice for non coffee drinkers and water is self service at the counter. Free wifi with password : expresso

Yelp
We found this place by chance on our first day in Paris. We were jet lagged and starving and the cafe delivered on both! The cappuccino was amazing. For food we ordered an omelette and pain perdu and both were delicious. We liked it so much we've gone back twice since. The wait staff are all very friendly as well!
google avatar

Derek E.

Yelp
Delicious food and espresso, a very friendly staff, and a beautiful aesthetic. They offer a full range of espresso drinks and several filtered coffee options as well. The sandwich I had came on wonderful, fresh bread, with the tastiest mozzarella I've ever had. Will definitely come back and try out the breakfast.
google avatar

Renee L.

Yelp
The scrambled eggs and bacon were wonderful, the eggs were light and fluffy and the bacon had a bit of a sweet taste. My husband loved the tomatoes that came with the dish. The service was fast and pleasant. The coffee and croissant were delish!

Yelp
This café is really trying... they have fresh juice, there's wifi, it's cozy and comfortable, and usually the music is pleasant -- depending on who's working the counter... However, they don't have any non-dairy milks, and their tea selection is paltry and unacceptable. (For example, if you want a green tea, all they have is Twinings.) IF they were to add in some non-dairy milks, halfway decent tea, and perhaps some healthy muffins or gluten-free/vegan options to their pastry selection, I'd add a star for sure, but as it stands, it remains just a cafe that *could* be something special.

Yelp
A quiet little cafe. Non smoke surrounding you. Pleasant service. Hidden on a corner. Fresh squeezed oj. Pleasant service. Speak English.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to drink coffee and hang out. We stumbled into this place and decided to go inside. The waitresses weren't friendly. We had bought some pastries from a different shop and thought it would be ok to eat our pastries with the coffee we ordered. When we were almost done eating the pastries one of the waitresses came up to us and told us we weren't allowed to eat outside food... like really? We apologized and she kept reiterating it. She was very rude! The coffee wasn't even that good here. Bad experience.

Yelp
Nice Spot for a Break It was a sunny day and we were looking for a break from being tourists. This place serves good coffee, the staff is friendly, and sitting at a table outside was exactly what we needed.

Yelp
We stopped here a few times on our trip to Paris from Chicago because it was around the corner from our hotel. We returned for the hospitality and the amazing food. The three times my girlfriend and I visited we tried the bacon breakfast sandwich, goat cheese omelette, and grilled cheese. Each were excellent in addition to the mocha and cappuccino coffees. Ben even gave me a complimentary piece of cake on my birthday after telling him about it the day prior. They were out of croissants the first two days we visited so he promised to save us a couple the last day we were there. He walked up to the bakery down the street when we arrived to ensure he'd fulfill his promise. Outstanding service at this quaint little cafe with amazing food and location. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Paris!

Yelp
Disclaimer: I am from Seattle, and I am a coffee snob. For the most part, in my opinion, the only reason to drink Parisian coffee is for the caffeine and the opportunity to spend an hour at an outdoor table at a traditional French café. The espresso varies from passable to horrid, and ordering a cappuccino is simply a waste of money. For good espresso drinks, head to Italy or to Café Strada. Their espresso is top quality, and they make a beautiful cappuccino. It is obvious that they care about the quality of their product. The last time I was there, the weather had just turned quite hot, and the barista apologized in advance that the coffee might be bitter. If I found it so, I was to let him know so that he could remake it. The coffee was delicious, as it turned out, but I appreciated the honesty. For non-coffee drinkers, they offer hot chocolate as well as delicious juices. The atmosphere of Café Strada is as good as their coffee. You will feel equally comfortable arriving with your laptop or with a group of friends. One note: if you are seeking delicious breakfast pastries, you should come to Café Strada another day. They serve lovely tartines with jam and have some nice brunch and lunch options, but for croissants you will be happier stopping at a neighboring bakery.

Yelp
I'm from Portland OR, so I too am a coffee snob. I've been looking for sustenance here in Paris for eight days, living off 3rd tier liquid from Starbucks. Thanks to Strada Café, I need wait no longer. Superb cappuccino with some really lovely foam and not the thin crap I get everywhere else here. The dish of the day was also really tasteful. Brioche with beets and chèvre garnished with arugula and a salad with cut fruit and a delicious dressing. The service was lovely - the baristas speak English and I heard about three languages and 3 different english accents here. Interesting place. Atmosphere is a bright hipster flavor, but leaning toward a more cosmopolitan clientele. Bring your friends! Definitely coming back tomorrow.

Yelp
Beautiful lighting Very clean interior Great, friendly service Anglo-friendly Good study location In Paris, it's hard to find a cafe that allows you to park your keister for a few hours without pressuring you to leave, but Strada is great for that! The service was super friendly, and the baristas spoke both English and French fluently. I got a cappuccino, and I wouldn't say that it was the best cappuccino I have had in Paris (I prefer the one at Cafeotheque), but it was good. The lighting is beautiful in this cafe, and the interior is open and welcoming. Great location, great service, easy 4 stars! Next time I want to try their fresh-squeezed juice. They smelled and sounded delicious, and a lot of people were ordering them.

Yelp
This place was great for breakfast! It was recommended to us by our hotel concierge and did not disappoint. The owner, Juan, was awesome and fluent in English, Spanish and French. I got the breakfast of champions and added an omelet with ham for a total of just 14 euros and it came with a lot of food that fueled me for a day of walking around Paris. Would definitely recommend if you want a fun little breakfast spot or want a quiet place to get a cup of coffee and people watch. They also have a bunch of fresh squeezed juices and smoothies if you want to detox your system from all that french wine and cheese.

Jessa A.

Yelp
The drinks and food were all delicious. And our waitress was so lovely! A great spot to rest and treat yourself during a day in Paris.

Yelp
Terrible service. Had to remind them of my order multiple times. Coffee is good but can't say for the food since I never got it.

Hilton N.

Yelp
Nice coffee and outstanding services! One of the only coffee places opened in the area on a Monday. Staff was very friendly Plenty of coffee options Reasonable prices Plenty of spaces in comparison to other places in Paris

Yelp
We were exploring Paris, chanced on this spot. Decided to grab a coffee and ok use the restrooms (ones in the traditional bars, bistros are at times windows to hell!) :) Staff were very friendly ( Polish, French and Dutch team). All of them speak English. Coffee was good. Very reasonable prices regardless of where you sit (no surcharge for patio). No gouging here. All in all pleasant spot to stop by if you're in the area. And yes they do have wifi. For these reasons in Paris I'm giving it 4/5.

Yelp
LOVE this place. The coffee is up to date with the newest movement of artisanal coffee--they have single origin coffee and incredible cold brew. Their food is wonderful and the staff is friendly! Bring your computer and sit and enjoy the cafe! It's absolutely wonderful. Maybe the best in Paris?

Pat J.

Yelp
I went looking for this based on Yelp reviews and it was excellent! The cappuccino had more espresso than other coffee shops in Paris and was just right.

Philippe S.

Yelp
Nice space, very Brooklyn - inspired. The servers are nice. The food however is disappointing. I had a club sandwich and the potatoes that came with it were ice cold and undercooked. Small portions overall. I haven't tried the muffin, but at 4€ for the size of a wine cork, I sure hope it's good !

Yelp
best cappuccino in paris/possibly world. not an exaggeration. we also had brunch. i had the croque mister (a traditional cm + poached egg and prosciutto) and my friend had the salad of the day. both simply, elegantly prepared with super fresh ingredients. lovely ambiance, delightful staff. i wish i had found this little gem sooner. i will be back.
