I am giving this restaurant 1 star for their pizzas. They are very delicious!
The problem is the hygiene in the kitchen what we saw was disgusting and what was in my soup was the worst.
First of all I ordered their Tomato Basil soup as an appetizer and right on top was a big dead long legged spider. I mean how could the cooks even miss that. They offered me another bowl of soup and of course I said no, knowing they aren't going to throw out that big batch of soup. The worst part is the cook says "ahh well shit happens". Doesn't even come out to apologize for what had happened. At the end of the dinner all we got was a free coffee, I mean seriously is that how you handle things?? I don't think so!
Secondly I saw the older cook lady using the broom in the kitchen and saw her put it down and with out washing her hands and not even wearing gloves to touch the already cooked food she grabs the rucola with her dirty un-washed broom hands and places it on top of the pasta dish we ordered. Then to the other customers she and the other tall cook whip the sides of the plates with this dirty wet towel that's been laying on the counter for god knows how long and who knows what else they have been using it for.
This used to be our favorite place to go but after their lack of hygiene we will no longer go back.
