Strahan Bungalows

Lovely place right by the water. We stayed in the family room which has a queen bed and double bunks. Room was great, with just about all things you could need. We had a few hiccups. There was no soap in the room and when I asked about it they said that they had trouble getting supplies, but the reception staff was able to find a bottle of body wash for us to use. Also note if you want ice, you can't get it here. The mini fridge only cools but does not freeze ice trays. |I did want to say that first impressions count and the reception area was really untidy and not a good look for guests when they arrive. |Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Location was great, room was great. My young son (6) loved that they had a trampoline for him to play on. There was a small play area for kids and quite a few tables and chairs out by the water.

Great location in Strahan. Very clean and tidy with easy access and parking right in front. Comfortable beds with electric blankets . Modern and lovely decorated bungalow. Price was reasonable. There is access to an external laundry if needed. Good communication with host. Highly recommend.

Well equipped self contained chalet close to IGA, pharmacy and BP petrol station. Short 4 min. drive to town centre and pier. The chalet has all the cooking amenities to be able to cook your own meals with modern appliances. On site laundry mat with large washing machines and dryers costing $4 ea. (2x $2 coins). I liked the fact that we didn't need a room key as the doors are keypad coded. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

The service was exceptional even though there was no reception office. The bungalow was very new, well designed and comfortable. We were also able to enjoy the starry skies just outside the room.

The bungalows, 4 in total, are well equipped to allow you to shop at IGA and prepare a meal. Very modern interior, immaculately cleaned. Parking at front door. Great option compared to other Strahan options. Would definitely stay again.

The bungalows were clean, tidy and very nicely decorated. They had basically everything we needed. The location was great, close enough to be convenient but not on the Main Street where it’s a bit louder and busier. If I’m being super picky, we would have loved a second stand alone fan (I’m sure if we mentioned it they would have accomodate).

The whole experience here was outstanding! From pre-checkin information, through the property itself and the check-in/check-out. Check-in information was provided by text with clear instructions to find our bungalow, but when we walked in, we were blown away! We stayed in a two-room bungalow called Sarah Island (All named after features of Stachan ratherel than numbered). Every little thing you could possibly want was provided! I would visit Strachan again just to stay here. Nothing was any trouble for Annie who was always just a text away.

The spotless Bungalows are the perfect place to stay with all necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. Annie sent me a very clear text about the location and access. I sent her a text to advise one of the bathroom heat lamps he blown on our final morning. Annie’s reply thanking me was immediate. Great value for money.
