i came here with a high expectation of pastries. when we went there, we were disappointed :) we ended up ordering a pineapple pie (i'm not sure what's the name written on the menu) but it was good. we also ordered ginger tea but the taste wasn't good.

When I was looking for the best location to work online and enjoy a cup of coffee, I chose this location. My choice seemed to be right. Beautiful and strategic location. The service was also very friendly. The dining area is comfortable and the coffee is also very good. Come here. You will not regret it.

We decided to drop by the cafe. Since we were too early for afternoon high tea (starts at 2pm), we just got a pastry and drink. The mushroom puff was nice and flaky. The salmon croissant was also good. The service staff were not very attentive, like when we wanted to order and make payment, it was so hard to get their attention. They also didn’t know the prices of the pastry and had to call someone to check. The place was quiet on a saturday afternoon, it was nice to relax and look out of the window to view the swimming pool.

High tea set for around 120-130 , 170 comes with sparkling wine. The location was great and it s very quiet place , rarely any other guest dine inside . Desserts no wow factor, quite plain & average . Overall was ok for a place to have some chit chat and high tea。

A beautiful colonial style coffee place. Their signature burnt cheesecake and coffee brulee are amazing.

Yelp
Air conditioning -check. Delicious food - check. Great service - check. Beautiful view of the marina - check. The duck was divine! The portion sizes, flavor, and presentation was great. I only deducted a star due to the price, it was more in line with American restaurant prices but that seems to be typical of the restaurants near the Danna Hotel. They also have a small cookbook with Malaysian recipes at each table, which you can bring home with a donation to a charity. I love this idea, now I get to bring the tastes of Malaysia home!

Yelp
I seldom review restaurants, as I tend to reserve reviews for either exceptionally good or bad experiences only. I'm pleased to report that this is one of the exceptionally good ones. As someone who has spent considerable time in Malaysia (several years) I've had my fair share of Malaysian cuisine. This easily ranks as some of the best. Mind you, it is a fusion that they do here, and while often times in can be done wrong, this was done right. - AMENITIES: it's air conditioned with a beautiful view of the marina. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a great restaurant. Also, they have wifi with the password at each table, if you really need to use the wifi. - FOOD: I got the Malaysian chicken curry with Briani rice. It was fantastic. My wife got the Malaysian plate with Roti canai and that was also fantastic as it offered a portion of almost everything. We also got some mint drinks that were next level and a must try. However, the thing that made it just unreal was the tiramisu. It's their own take on it, but frankly I'd opt for theirs over anyone else's take, frankly. Try it. If tiramisu is not your thing there is a host of other delicious choices. - PRICE: Price is slightly higher than surrounding restaurants but mostly on par. In terms of the value you get there is no comparison. My wife and I tried several other spots and honestly don't know why anyone would even entertain those when Privilege is an option. All in all this is the best food we've had on the island. Make sure you make a reservation though, as it seems we aren't the only ones who learned of this place, as it's quite popular. The owners both also work there and came by our table, which only made the experience better. 5 stars all day. I'm the US I pay much more for much less so if you are expecting a 6 RM meal keep walking, but I'd urge you to reconsider because this place is great. I'd say average is about 50-60 RM per plate, or about 12USD at the time of this writing. A steal as far as I'm concerned.
