AKUBRA Hats

Above the call of duty! Today I was driving around Sydney CBD struggling to find parking for my 2.2 metre high car. Instead I called Akubra Hats, and a gentleman named Mackenzie (Mac for short) answered the phone. Mac understanding my predicament was able to bring the product some 250 metres from the shop to me in a roadway. If I wasn’t appreciative of Mac then, he then proceeded to instruct me on how best to maintain my hat covering the essential dos and don’ts. I offered a tip for his services and he still refused. Mac is clearly passionate about the hats and after putting on my Akubra hat, I can understand why. Thank you Mac - I know that other people will have a similar experience with your service due to your passion and level of service.

Fantastic Experience & Great Hat! After spending a month in Australia, we decided on our last day Dec 2 to finally buy an Akubra hat—and we’re so glad we did! The young salesman who helped us was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything Akubra and guided us through choosing the Traveller hat. He went above and beyond by making us a sturdy cardboard ring to protect the hat in our suitcase, which was such a thoughtful touch i would have worn it home but living on the east coast on Canada, i thought packing be best lol. Im glad we followed his advice since our luggage was misplaced but turned up tonight. The hat was in excellent condition,thanks so much to the young gentleman. Cheers

Path made my experience very comfortable and took the time to explain me all the different types of hats and helped me finding the right one for me. He also helped me to shape it the way I liked it! Couldn’t be more happy. Maybe in the future I will come back to re-shape it, since I noticed little asymmetric mistakes.

When in Australia you can't go without buying a true aussie icon. This cute little store has all the models and amazing staff to help you pick the right Akubra. I am in love with mine!

I called last minute to see if they had anymore of the Brixton hooligan snap caps in brown/khaki XL for my lazy fat head brother on Friday 4th April arvo and the awesome gentleman “Bailey” was kind enough to put the last one aside for me. Excellent service & really great quality hats. I think I might be back to get something for myself. Cheers for a great experience! :)

We went and tried the hats for the first time but they didn’t have the size for me. The store manager- Hamish ordered the hat and I got my beautiful hats today. Awesome service by him with great knowledge about their hat and products. I love my hats and great experience in Strand Hatters. Lovely presents for family and friends too 👍

I purchased my second Akubra "Colly" from Strand Hatters, they are made to order and you wait six months. Plenty of height in the crown to allow for air circulation, and the widest brim to help banish skin cancers. A very welcome addition to my hat collection, thank you Strand Hatters and Akubra
