so if you’re in hvar and only have the option to reach beaches by foot, I highly recommend going to this one. first, get to pokonji dol and from there take a 20-minute trail walk. it’s small, wide rocky and clear water. totally worth it for the silence and peaceful atmosphere.

This is one of the best beaches I visited at Hvar. To get there, you can park car at Pokonji dol, and then you have to walk for 15 kinutes through the woods, but it is definitely worth it. Beach is covered with beautiful white rock and water is crystal clear. Even there were no urchins in the water, like on the other beaches. There is no bar on this beach, but there is Robinson bar 5 minutes from here.

A really nice small beach, few people, a long walk from Hvar, but worth it! Wear comfortable shoes, bring lots of water and try to get there early ish so that you can seek shade under the big tree over rocks on the right hand side - you will have your own “private” entrance to the sea and some flat surface to lie/sit down on. Sea shoes highly recommended if you go on the rocks! We spent 3 hours there, snorkeled and even saw some new fish we hadn’t seen in central Hvar. It was great 💛

By far the best beach on Hvar. Highly recommend. Did require to park at Pokonji Dol and walk ~20 mins through a forest, but was worth it.

Lovely beach with beautiful water. Well worth the walk. I went in thongs/jandals/ flip flops which were ok but it wouldn’t hurt to have sturdier shoes. Water shoes would help with getting in and out of the water but we did it in bare feet without too much drama - just a bit of winching and grimacing.

Nice beach, bigger than nearby Robinson Beach. It has a small concrete “pier” and a lot of shade from trees. Accesible walking. Second picture is of a nearby bar which has a lot of chairs and it’s pretty cool. The beach itself has no constructions.

Very nice beach for spending a day. Not that much crowded. Water is clean and everything is great. There are a lot of threes so you can have natural shade.

Beautiful secluded beach about 40 minutes walk from Hvar Town. The path is very uneven and the beach is rocky so bring suitable shoes. There’s no facilities at the beach which makes it nice and quiet.
