I was served by a passionate man named Jarrod who provided the best souvlaki I’ve eaten outside of Melbourne. The portions are decent, the price is fair and the food is very traditional and amazing. Highly recommend this place. If you’re ever in Townsville, do yourself a favour and get yourself a souvlaki from here. The bread is so perfect and the lamb is next level. Can’t believe this guy isn’t Greek! I asked one of the younger staff members what it was like to work here and he said Jarrod is a mentor and amazing to work with. Awesome vibes and family friendly.

So happy we came across this place on our first time in Townsville 🩷🩷 The souvlaki platter 10/10, I got the chicken with an extra skewer of lamb. So good!!!!! Nutella honey balls for dessert also perfect 🩷

I really enjoyed my lunch at Strand Greek Souvlaki bar. Yummy and freshly made food with fresh ingredients, very filling for me, but love the freshness. I will return to try something different next time and a take home dessert. Didn’t wait long for food and friendly staff. I ordered the $15.00 lunch option. OPEN SOUVLAKI LUNCH Char grill chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, chips & tzatziki. I wanted to get desert but I was too full.

Fresh and Delicious! My stomach gave up but I tried so hard to finish the platter!!! Have recommended to others and will definitely be going again! Bread was soft, tzatziki was not your store bought, chicken was perfection and dressing was to die for. Unlike other places that fall a bit hard on the tummy, did not fall bad on me one bit! I will definitely be coming back soon!

Fantastic food and friendly staff. Greek snack pack was amazing, fresher and cleaner than a standard snack pack.

$37 for the two skinniest souvlakis I’ve ever seen. Didn’t come close to being enough for dinner, very disappointed. Taste was 7/10. *Edit* Thank-you for the reply and explanation, I hadn’t seen any of the signage when I came to pick it up. I’ll have to try again after you’ve found a new supplier.

Had a great experience at the Souvlaki Bar The Strand. We went and ordered some dinner few weeks back and it was beautiful. We got the Seafood basket and Nutella Honey Puffs.
