nice place! a little long wait, but the food is surprisingly good (just look at the thick salmon steak as the fish of the day! and risotto is with chanterelles!), big cups of tea, perfect poached eggs

Not that great honestly, expected more based on the reviews. Long service time, noisy environment, food not worth the price: the bread didn't even feel like brioche, and the eggs were overcooked. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I wouldn't recommend going for a nice brunch here.

I love this restaurant. The food is lovingly made and presented, the staff are happy to give guidance and suggest delicious wine pairings. Jacco (not sure how to spell it) had great recommendations and the Aubergine dish was exceptional.. they offer a 3-4 course ‘chef’s choice’ option with or without wine pairings and will work with diet preference/restrictions.

If you’re looking for a breakfast place especially at the weekend, Strandbad Mitte is a good choice. Their Egg Benedict is pretty good. The cheese plate is gigantic, you can definitely have that for 2 people. They also serve a large basket of fresh bread. Prices are around 12-15 Euros for all dishes but they do have Broccoli soup for 6,50. Worth trying!

Nice restaurant where you can have lunch until 4 pm if I’m correct. Really simple but fresh and good! The atmosphere is chill and cosy, really relax!

We stopped for a beer and a light lunch at this nice restaurant in the middle of a intresting bohemian area. The restaurant is located at the end of an ending short street, so there is not much car traffic. The sun was shining nicely and we ate outside enjoying it. The service was quite busy. My pasta was delicious and so was my companion's egg benedict. The atmosphere was relaxed. We could have spent more time in this restaurant.

The lady at the counter was slightly rude, but the girl that served us was delightful! Food tasted great and the location was beautiful. Recommend!

These guys are on top of their game. The waiters are so friendly, you just wish they could become your best friends. The food is delicious, I was particularly impressed with the goat cheese salad, to die for…. And their wine selection is quite impressive. Maybe only one suggestion: I was craving to have either cremant or cava, but they didn’t offer any. Still plenty of wines to choose from

Excellent spot for brunch. They are friendly and let you take your time here. There's a lovely patio seating where you can enjoy the day light and still be served attentively. I recommend the smoked salmon dish which comes with horseradish, creme fraiche, a salad, and a bread basket.

This is place served maybe the driest piece of meat I have eaten in my life. On the meny is said marinated meat with root vegs and potatoes. There was no marinade to find or taste and someone must have forgotten the meat in the oven for a looong time. This kind of meat I would not give my dog... Just go somewhere else.

Just ok.....I wasn't sold on the food here, and I'm not sure I would go back. Everything seemed like it was just a little off. From the scrambled eggs to the sausage to the house made raspberry iced tea, it all lacked seasoning and flavor. I even found myself needing to add quite a bit of sugar to the tea to make it drinkable...and I don't like my drinks very sweet, so that tells you how flavorless it was. We were there around lunchtime and while the food did come out quickly, the portions were quite small, so don't expect to leave here even slightly full. For the portions, I will agree with some of the other reviews that it seemed overpriced. Also, the waitress was SO unfriendly and cold, my god, I don't think she'd smile if I offered to pay her 100 euros.

Very nice spot for a chilled dinner in the heart of Mitte. Despite its location this restaurant still having the local vibe and as it is in an alley you can enjoy a quiet night with a really nice selection of seasonal food (and seafood) and drinks. The menu changes every two weeks so it's a nice escuse to repeat and try something new.

Fairly expensive for what they give you. Very small selection on breakfast plate and only gave two prices of bread. Wouldn't go back

We stumbled upon this place looking for a nice dinner, and we were not disappointed. We order the 4-course surprise tasting menu to share. Food was amazing! They also really brought out their best ingredients for the meal, all fresh and local and flavorful. Along with a fish entree (superb) and a lovely ambience, we were just thrilled. Best meal in Berlin after weeks here. Definitely recommend the surprise tasting menu -- you can definitely share it. Loved it!

I really like it here. Great little place for brunch. The service is great and prices too. In the summer you can get a table outside too. We usually go for the Strandbad "house" breakfast/brunch for 2 people which has a bit of everything - meats, boiled egg, cheese, smoked salmon, fruits, different breads/rolls and yogurt - all for around EUR13!

Great place for a typical Berlin Brunch! Food is excellent.

I actually quite liked this place when there while it was still warm. It was great to sit outside in this side street away from the traffic. Nice atmosphere, with good service. The menu is standard and there's nothing out of the ordinary but in general, I'd say this is a good local cafe to stop in grab a bite, a coffee or whatever and hang out for a while.

when we first got to Berlin, we decided, this is gonna be our place for late breakfast with wifi. its always very good, not expensive. sometimes, you gotta wait for a table
