Strandflickornas Havshotell

I loved the atmosphere of the place, so nice in every detail! Unfortunately our room was very small and not as charming as the other ones we saw (and is on display on the website). In addition, there was a renovation of the roof ongoing. It would have been suitable to mention this when we booked, and not in an email 2 days before arrival... This was however compensated by the very nice service and attitude by the owner who arranged a beautiful conference room in Gula villan for us. So perfect for our needs and very nicely arranged for us! So all and all, it was a great stay that I can highly recommend. The food and the breakfast buffet was great! Thanks a lot!

Amazing place and environment! The staff was super friendly and service minded! This is a place you DONT want to miss out on! Well worth the visit! If possible make sure to book the room by the sea where you have your own spa bath! . The surounding is amazing as well! The breakfast was nice, missed some propper fresh bread.. other then that it had it all.

Spa offer. Well, a bubblebath for four person outside, without showet etc is more correct, but a super view. |Super service and cosy room and a very good bed, but a smell in the bathroom. |Please do not use chili in all your meals. Beautiful surroundings.

Generally, very ambient and feeling of tranquility. Good food. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice walking facilties nearby and a stone stepped trail to a sightseeing point where you could see large parts of the archipelago outside Lysekil all within their own garden. Magnificent!

If you’ve never visited Lysekil, then I can thoroughly recommend that you do! Although I have to admit that for our 3 days we had marvellous weather.|Strandflickornas is a charming hotel, with much old world charm, in a quiet but central location, we liked it.|We stayed in a sea cabin, which provides direct access to the sea and a hot tub, we enjoyed both. |The website does reference the uneven path to the sea cabins, and I’d reinforce that. Should you be travelling with larger bags, I’d strongly recommend rearranging to take the minimum required for your stay here. I’d advise against for anyone with mobility issues.|The bed was comfortable enough, but the room clearly has dual purpose as a conference room, and the bed is foldaway, not quite what you’d expect at this price.

We stopped at the restaurant for dinner. The receptionist gave us a discount voucher that could be used at the restaurant for 125 kr. We had the summer salad and the zucchini and tomatoes puttanesca with two local beers 🍻. The breakfast was adequate.

Nice, cozy room with a personal touch, comfortable bed, very clean, quiet, helpfull staff. Many nice and private sitting-groups outside in the beautiful, mounty garden in good weather and close to city-center with nice shops an cafes/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

If you really wish for a cosy, romantic, beautiful place to stay - this is it! Every detail has been paid attention to, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Our room was rather small this time, but there are different kinds of rooms and styles to choose from. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfast was so good. The Christmas decorations made us feel right at home (although in another century! Lovely).
