Strandhotel Cadzand

Overall, a pleasant stay. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety and quality. The spa was a lovely feature. Clean and relaxing, though the sauna was a bit too small. Rooms were comfortable with beautiful views. However, the staff didn’t come across as very friendly, and some areas of the hotel felt empty. Bar and restaurant pretty much always were closed. Still, a solid choice for a relaxing getaway

We really loved our stay here. The heatwave that week might have also helped! Breakfast is amazing and one of the best I have ever had (including comparing it to some of the ultra luxury hotels in Asia). Very nice staff as well. Small thing worth noting - Our room has great design but no bathroom door so lacks privacy.

Very expensive hotel for what you get, cheap materials and they closed down the bar in the hotel without informing the guests. When asked about the bar the hotel staff told us it was not profitable to keep it open in summer. Weird, since I still needed to pay the full price for the hotel. Also, the water in the pool was quite cold and the 2 sauna's only accommodate for 2 people per sauna. Therefore, you need to be very lucky to be able to use it.

Rooms and facilities are quiet basic not worth the price tag. Unable to dine at in house restaurant as fully booked which was quiet essential when travelling with a child. Have stayed in different hotels in Cadzand before which were better.

There is not a broad offer of breakfast It was more sweets and pastry rather than a full on breakfast buffet. For the price we paid for our stay I do feel that the service was rather lacking. It feels more like you are paying solely for the privilege of location.

Such a magical natural place where we felt just comfortable from checkin to checkout. Best breakfast i have had anywhere in the world. Didn't have a sea view but can't have it all :) Can't wait to visit again.

I stayed at Strandhotel Cadzand last year, expecting the same high standards from a previous visit, but this time was a huge disappointment.||The toilet in our room was noticeably dirty, especially under the seat, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for days. Too say the least, discovering this was extremely unpleasant. Additionally, the toilet seat was broken, a floor lamp didn’t work, and cleaning materials were left in the room—not what you expect from a hotel at this level.||We initially requested a paid late checkout but canceled it after all the issues. The hotel then offered it for free, but at that point, we just wanted to leave. Later, they offered a complimentary suite for a future stay, which seemed fair—until I tried to book.||When I requested to use it on a Saturday, which was my birthday, they told me the hotel was “quite busy” and instead offered me a stay on Friday. However, I could still see availability online, which made their response feel dismissive rather than a genuine effort to accommodate me.||The only bright spot was the great service at the bar, which was the level of hospitality I had expected throughout my stay.||At €190 per night, this was not worth it. Dirty rooms, broken facilities, and communication make it hard to recommend this hotel. I won’t be returning.

Very peaceful, quiet, and beautifully located hotel.|we stayed in the superior room with dune view. What a nice room! Big, bright, beautiful view. Superb shower!|We were allowed to bring our dog, which was really an extra plus for us!|Nice, extensive breakfast.|Friendly staff.|Dinner at Demain very highly recommended!
