Executive food in a beautiful setting and excellent restaurant with home cooked food. We had meat and octopus dishes accompanied with salads and drinks and the bill was very reasonable €70. The service was good and the lake view makes it all an excellent event

Had a mean Kaffee und Kuchen, sitting outside by the lake, cakes freshly baked, delicious!

This cute little hotel on the southern edge of a beautiful lake was just right for a weekend get away south of Munich. Room was small but newly renovated and impeccably clean with a fabulous view of the lake and the surroundings. Small restaurant offers very friendly service, wonderful breakfast and a nice evening menu. Quick walk into Diessen, full of cafes and restaurants. We will be back!

Booked a table here for a group of 14. Excellent service, superb food. Best steak I have ever eaten.

What a lovely hotel situated on an amazing spot with its own access to Ammerzee. We stayed 2 days and felt so relaxed – just what we needed before taking on the next part of our journey. The room, food and service was great. I would very much recommend this hotel as it was the highlight of our trip.

Stayed here one night whilst walking in the area.|The staff were very pleasant and helpful.|The hotel is situated just off the lakeside in a quiet cul-de-sac.10min walk into town.|My room with balcony was well furnished, the bed was comfortable and the shower-room OK.|The room was very quiet at night.|An early supper was excellent - good food and beer. The breakfast was everything Bavarian.

Made a late booking and got the last Room Confirmed.Arrived little late (21:30).Placed seemed to be closed .? Ringed door bell severally times, no reaction ? Called the contact number, no answer.? Called privat numbe posted on front door no reaction.? Pushed doorbell "Vogel" finally got female answer. She said there was no room available and we were too late to check in, no matter that we got booking.com confirmation..?|No alternative place to stay or help in anyway was offered. Sad German Hospitality.
