Strandhotel

It was such a nice stay at the Strandhotel!! Everyone was so nice, it was tidy and clean, breakfast was great with a beautiful view too the sea and there even has been live piano music on Sunday. That we could have coffee and tea in the lobby as much as we wanted was only one cherry on top. Thank you for everything! We'll come again 😀

The rooms are quite spacious and equipped well with TV, Table chairs and a small cupboard. Also the bathrooms were spacious. They have free coffee & Tea along with some cookies available throughout the day next to reception. Do count 30€ per day for parking which is just next to the hotel. The hotel doesn't come with parking.

Coming back to this cozy place feels like coming home. The lovely and kind staff makes you feel especially welcome, part of their family or extended family. The public transport connection is super easy. On arrival the welcome lounge offers comfortable seating with outdoor terrace all with lovely views on the boulevard, beach and sunset. You can enjoy complimentary refreshments here all day long, which is very unique. We were also surprised by a Birthday treat in the bedroom. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will be back next year!

The "Strandhotel" in The Hague, located directly on the picturesque coast of Scheveningen, is a real gem for anyone who appreciates classic charm and great hospitality. You can feel the historic flair as soon as you enter the hotel: the lovingly preserved architecture, the stylish details and the warm atmosphere give the hotel a special aura that is both nostalgic and inviting. The location couldn't be better - just a few steps separate the hotel from the beach and the lively Scheveningen promenade. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and create a feel-good atmosphere. Whether it's individual requests, recommendations for excursions or simply a nice chat - hospitality is truly lived here. We stayed at the hotel for one night in May and booked the family room for a short break from everyday stress. The car park is directly opposite and can be booked with a discount from the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel with character, charm and an unbeatable location, the Strandhotel in The Hague is the place to be. A perfect retreat to enjoy the beauty of the Dutch coast and at the same time stay in an ambience full of history and warmth.

The Hotel is great and perfectly located on the beach side. No restaurant or real bar, but an okay breakfast. Free Coffee and Ice Creams. Family Room #2 was perfect for us!

Terrible experience for a lot of money. The room is underground with small windows to the walking/ parking and road. No ventilation or eco. Windows can not open because they face a walking part of the road. No air at all in the room.Beds are exactly under the restaurant, so we could not sleep from 6am. You can feel the tram in the room. Terrace is closed at 10pm just when the sun set is and they kick you out. The manager young woman is agressieve and not kind at all. Just spoiled hotel because of the top location. Breakfast is ok. Same money costed Kurhaus or The Pier for Penthouse room. Never again.

Everything you could wish for. Lovely family owned hotel and you see and feel that everywhere We had an ocean view room (#15) and it was worth every cent. They view was stunning!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at the Strandhotel in Scheveningen. After entering the charming lobby you can feel the history of this building with its squeaking parquet flooring, dark wooden staircase, fireplace and chandeliers. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. While enjoying breakfast or a free drink you have a nice view of the promenade and the sea with lovely sunsets in the evening. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you might need.
