Kickass spot for underground music. Really cool selection of experimental noise stuff, avant-garde, far out synth LPs, and also post-punk stuff. Good selection of 7inch records too. Highly recommend for anyone into alternative music. Thanks for the pickups!

I wanted a new book by an American publisher who told me Strangeworld Records were their Australian affiliate but the book would take a few months to be published and shipped. Strangeworld took my pre-order and kept me informed of the progress of my order along the way. The were always punctual at getting back to me, even on weekends. Great service and I can recommend them highly.

A well stocked record store that does not shy away from underground or obscure inventory. The store is well laid out and browsing is comfortable. Strangely, the shop plays music from a digital source, not vinyl! I think this argues against the store's premise! Besides this, all vinyl enthusiasts are required to visit here.

I stopped by Strangeworld while in Melbourne and it was an amazing experience. Richie was super knowledgeable and introduced me to some new artists and records, he knows his stuff across all genres and also ships around the world so I will be back! Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for something new and different. One of the best record stores I have ever been to!

I am always suprised how some smaller record stores like Stange Worlds can offer so much to the record buying public. Located in a convienient position with very friendly and knowegable staff, a great range and excellent prices. What more could you want.
