Its adorable. The gardens are extremely well maintained. It’s very historically rich and the area is stunning. It would be a great spot for photos.

Basically a first floor of a house 🏠, but, I really appreciated the AC! Music 🎵 related collectables were what stood out to me while looking around. I watched an inexpensive version of "Antique Roadshow" as the man 👞 behind the counter researched items and seemed quite knowledgeable about antiques. Very friendly service. Update: August 2025; I had a good 👍 time exploring and finding old Beatles vinyl albums. I had a chance to speak 🗣️ to the owner and he told me that he keeps selling out on Beatles memorabilia. Only issue, I think 🤔 thier selection of comic books are overpriced. There in good condition, but, they don't have anything that might attract a collector's, not the Marvel villain from the comics or movie 🎥, interest. Probably inflation driving the prices. If you are into antiques, or collecting vinyl albums, stop in. See what you think 🤔!

If you want to experience the best in class of antiques and vintage, then this is your place. Don't waste your time at other so-called vintage shops. Every item in this store is carefully curated by a knowledgeable dealer who offers some of the rarest in pop culture, MCM, and turn-of-the-century oddities. Fairly priced, and wow, what an experience! Step back in time and visit. You will not be sorry.

We absolutely loved visiting this living history museum, many buildings over 300 years old. It was unbelievable! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the restrooms in the Visitor's Center were nice and clean. It was a very reasonable admission price for the experience. This is a wonderful place for families and children too. We loved Charles, an older gentleman, who was at one of the houses to explain the history to guests. He was extremely knowledgeable, very impressive! There were several other staff, whose names escape me, who were also very knowledgeable.

Nice variety of things to browse. But no clocks (my obsession from years back - which still draws me to antique stores on occasion - based in my 'Late-since-I-was-eight' reputation of old). BTW, photos are of some of my remaining old faves, some working, others not.

Love this store! It's always on our "walking around Portsmouth" route. The owner is always friendly and helpful with a great energy to share. So many interesting things to appreciate. Pricing ranges from valuable antiques to catchy thrift. Today, I scored a functional art piece that I'm totally enamored with!

Great selection, shop owner was very friendly and welcoming. Prices were fair on all the items as well. Bought one thing while I was there. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely love this hidden gem of a place. Super friendly owner who was wonderful to chat with. Very reasonably priced cool items ranging from jewelry, records, home decor, clothing etc. I've lived here all my life and never went here until a friend was in town. It's now one of my favorites after only 1 trip!

By far the shortest weekend visit ever, I know we will be back one day to explore. We love walking into antique shops and came across Strawberry Bank Antique and Vintage shop. Lots of rock and album memorabilia, different classic music taste when you search through Art or albums, and an assortment of interesting finds when you browse here. The owner was friendly too. Although our visit was short, one day we won't be rushing to come back for a longer visit next time.

Look at the pictures and judge accordingly. I am picky as hell, and this place had everything that any vintage/collectible lover would freak out over ANY day. The owner was/is knowledgeable about everything in his shop, and he can tell you the history behind any item for sale. He was also friendly and open to explaining the importance of item(s) I inquired about as prices vary, but they are FAIR to say the least. You get what you pay for, and what you pay for at Strawberry Banke Antiques is of true quality, both historically and/or sentimentally. Thank you, owner, for existing and having this shop. Please expand one day and maybe come open up another shop in Houston. Just sayin' ;) If you pass this one up while you're in Portsmouth, you're missing out. Avoid FOMO and simply GO!
