You can make a reservation online for free just to save your spot. Then, when you get there, it's $20 per person. They say you have a 2 hr time frame, but it doesn't seem like anyone is keeping track.
They have multiple spots and pools with varying temperatures. There's also some spots that's scalding hot. The water on the surface looks clean. But there's a lot of algae in the water as well as some of the surfaces are extremely slippery from the algae.
It's right next to the Hot Spring Creek River, which is very cold. So it's quite a shock to the system when you jump into the cold water. But it's definitely cold and refreshing.
There's a stone hut where you can place your clothes and belongings. But there's also multiple wooden chairs and recliners you can sit at and enjoy the sun (if it's out). There's also a changing hut that I hear smells musty, with carpeting, which definitely doesn't help.
This place is pretty big. So even though it gets crowded, there's enough space for people to hang out at. But it seems as though the later in the afternoon, the fewer people there are, which is nice. The upper hot springs were closed off. But if you go pass the bridge at the bottom, there are a few small picnic tables and bbq pits areas, which is pretty cool.
The warm water is definitely good for any sore muscles you may have. Signage around here, especially when you pull into the parking lot, can be quite confusing, as there's multiple areas you can go into. But find the little truck shack, and that's the entrance into the hotsprings.
I definitely enjoyed my time here. It would be better if they cleaned the surfaces and cut down on the algae. It's hard to see where the rocks are. So you can potentially kick some of them. Which hurts a lot and you definitely can get a couple of cuts and scrapes on your legs. But it's definitely relaxing, and I had a great time here.
