I discovered this place through a YouTube video that listed it as one of the top things to do in Amsterdam, so I decided to check it out. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The commute took nearly two hours round-trip, and in hindsight, it really wasn’t worth the time and effort.
The concept sounded interesting—scattered art installations throughout the area—but in reality, they were poorly marked and quite hard to locate. There’s a QR code available when you arrive that directs you to an app meant to guide you through the experience, but even with that, it was confusing and not very engaging. The app didn’t add much value and felt more like a gimmick than a helpful tool.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Unless you’re already in the area and have extra time to kill, I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit. There are plenty of other attractions in Amsterdam that are more accessible and worthwhile.
