Street Food auf Achse

We had been at the Mauerpark Flohmarkt and were on our way to the museum in the Kulturbrauerei so grabbed some lunch here on the way through. We tried some excellent West African food (jolof rice and beans, puff puff, plantains...) and some very average pad see ew (the noodles were pad thai style ribbon noodles, not the flat wide ones chewy ones I usually enjoy in pad see ew). So, yeah, hit and miss depending which carts are there on the day and which ones you order from. I wouldn't go out of my way but would have a little look if I was in the neighbourhood again on a Sundsy.

Great place to eat! You can find a big variety of food 😋. The Venezuelan empanadas, the Tequeños and the Arepas at Krunsch are amazing 😍😍

Ate at the Cuban food truck ! It was AMAZING! I got a Cuban pollo rice bowl, loved the plantain garnish!!!!

This place has got plenty of options for vegetarians to try!

Over a dozen street food trucks lined up in the square every Sunday from January until end November (when it shuts down during the Lucia Christmas Market). Highly recommended for a sunny afternoon snack if you're in the area. Sometimes there are themed days and you can check the website for which trucks will be there each week. There's usually only one truck for beer, so if you want a cheaper option I suggest stopping at a Späti before you arrive.

I don‘t go out much on Sundays but when I do I make sure I stop by at Streetfood auf Achse! 😁 I love to be surrounded by all these different flavours. I wish there was a way to taste them all! On the other hand I did not regret indulging in Ube Tapa‘s delicious burger. That marinade felt like heaven in my mouth. A perfect mix of slightly spicy and the right amount of sweetness. YUMM! 😁 An iced Latte at the Coffee-Bike was a perfect finish for this meal on a gorgeous Sunday. 👌🏼

Really nice. Every Sunday there are multiple food trucks selling food from around the world. Nice atmosphere, food is really delicious! Would definitely go there again when I'm in Berlin 😊
