My favorite place to buy and sell for anything vintage! They have a nice curated collection, and everything is well decorated. Unlike other resale places, they aren't judgey and give you helpful feedback on what they are or are not looking for. Cash for under $100 and checks for over $100. Appointments for selling are on Mondays; you can also make estate sale appointments. I have bought a few things that I love from here - prices can be high, but they're generally reasonable / appropriate for what they are.

My love for vintage things will never not exist. This store is amazing. The amount of vintage items and quality vintage items is an understatement. The staff is amazing. You can put items on hold and pick them up later because if you are like me I fall in love with something I see and I just have to have it. Call in they will hold it for you. The staff is always kind and willing to help. And the best thing is it is not super pricy either! This store will forever have my heart and wallet.

Amazing store. Favorite thing is the unique and vintage jewelry selection.

Beautifully curated, pristine store. Almost everything is either handmade or a vintage designer. Cute dressing rooms. Parking can be really rough if it’s a busy time of day. Each store front has a you can’t park here unless you’re a customer of whatever store on this strip. I would park next door and walk over, next time.

My favorite vintage store in Lexington! Very well curated, lots of great finds. Vintage and modern goodies to complete your look. The prices are very fair, sometimes surprisingly low. It can be hard to find larger sizes here but that is also just an issue with vintage clothes. They also have decor and jewelry. Men's and women's options available. If you call ahead, you can make appointments to sell your clothing.

Love this place! I always find amazing accessories and such. As a fat person, there's not usually clothes to fit me, but that par for the course for vintage. But its still fun to look around. A must see for vintage shoppers

Google
This has been my favorite store in Lexington since I was in middle school and even though I’ve moved away, I always make a stop in here every time I’m back home! Great customer service, an awesome selection, and fantastic customer service. Even if you’re not sure if vintage clothes are your style, it’s a fun store to look for gifts, housewares, and to just wander around in while you get your coffee from Coffee Times next door!

Google
It has some really nice items and the workers don't judge or make fun of customers for real this place shows that there are actually good people out in this world unlike half the people i meet here in Lexington ky

Yelp
I first have to start off my admitting, I'm not a vintage shop regular. Yes, I have a few shirts in my closet over 10 years old, so maybe that counts. That was literally my first thought when I walked in... that's not vintage, I haaaaave that! Yeah, I felt old for a second and then it quickly turned into pride. I have been in a few vintage and consignment stores in my days and I will say that this is one of the upscale ones. A lot of bright and colorful items added to the tidy atmosphere. It is more of a modern day vintage store, not the ones our grandmothers frequented, unless she's Baddiewinkle https://www.instagram.com/baddiewinkle The location is a bit strange. Although it's near Nicholasville Road, The Summit, and Fayette Mall, it's sort of tucked away, on Regency Drive. Unless you're going to Coffee Times (which is right next door) you may never stumble upon this gem without seeking it out. And if you're a vintage, thrift and consignment store fan, I highly recommend you make the trip here.

Yelp
I stumbled into this beautifully curated shop and found a brand new, yet vintage Wrangler Gingham shirt, complete with Pearl snap buttons. Bayan helped me with the purchase and I will definitely be back to browse all the visual candy in this shop.

Yelp
I go to Street Street regularly with my granddaughter. Today, I was very disappointed with the Valentines displayed on a table that was clearly visible to younger kids who may be in there with parents. They said things like "I like to lick your butt!", "Gay for you!" (Not knocking "gay", but this almost seems a little sexist. What would we say if it said "Straight for you"? but worst one: "I'm glad I found you instead of Jesus". (Pretty sure I could find my person and Jesus as well; it's not an either-or-thing.) I'm all about acceptance of others , but these are over the line in my opinion and I will not be buying anything at Street Scene and steering away from Coffee Times, since it must be owned by the same people.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Lexington, for sure! We had so much fun exploring the racks here. My husband found a nice blazer, my daughter found a mood ring, and I scored a couple pair of unique earrings! It's also attached to a very cute coffee shop. I cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
Street Scene has such a great selection of vintage items at great prices. I have also used them to consign and sell some it,es from my parents estate. They offer very professional services and have very fair consignments. This is a great place to stop in any time and browse. New items added every day so shop early and often!

Yelp
Hipster heaven if you're into that, the store smelled weird and was so empty. Overpriced for what they are. "vintage" just old stuff really.

Gabrielle L.

Yelp
Every single time I go in there the workers are so sweet and friendly. I always set aside a chunk of time and cash to go in there because I love everything in there. The ambiance, the items they have and the selection is amazing. I highly recommend this place. My friend showed it to me. My friends showed it to their friends and I'm showing it to mine because we all love it so much.

Yelp
Nice little store right next to the Coffee Times coffeehouse. If you have never been there, grab a drink at coffee times and visit street scene to see what they have to offer. Their selection is mostly vintage with some new items. I have noticed that their new item selection has been getting bigger in the last few years, especially their men's section. Definitely worth a look! They also carry locally made jewelry. Is this the best vintage/consignment store I have been? I wouldn't say so. They are more about a 3-3.5 star location but I also don't know any other similar places in Lexington so they get 4 stars for being unique.

Yelp
Love love loved this shop. Regular thrift stores like goodwill just don't compare to the true vintage experience that this store offers. The atmosphere is perfect, with a great deal of vintage items to choose from. Clothes, posters, cameras, jewelry, furniture, accessories, home decor, and more can be found. Also there are some products that aren't vintage. An amazing shop with great personality. Definitely a gem in Lexington.

Yelp
My favorite store of all-time! I no longer live in Lexington but I always stop in Street Scene to search for treasures every time I visit. They have so many great pieces of vintage clothing and furniture. They also have great kitchen stuff and jewelry. I usually leave with a fun pair of sunglasses and earrings at the very least and sometimes more. And it's connected to a coffee shop so you can get your caffeine fix while you shop!

Yelp
How have I missed Street Scene? A great little store with an eclectic mix of vintage items. Nice vintage purses. Clothing for men and women. Kitchen and dinnerware. Gift-y items. Enjoyed browsing. Some very good deals. With the changing inventory, you just might find a little something that you absolutely must have while marooned in time.

Yelp
First visit today & we were transported to NYC lower east side or to the Village. Great selection; very clean shop; excellent staff; very reasonable prices. You can find some high quality, seriously unusual items here. Give it a try!

Yelp
This is super neat vintage shop with quite a nice amount of space, given it's vintage consignment you never know what you'll find but it's always worth stopping by to find unique clothing, furniture, accessories or assorted home goods. You truly never know. It's a little treasurer trove.

Yelp
Lovely little shop! Organized well, friendly staff, and a variety of items. Vintage and beyond here. Lots of trinkets, gifts, and funny things to look at. Not outrageously priced either!

Piper E.

Yelp
Street Scene is one of my favorite lexington spots when I need a self care day! The items aren't super cheap but they're pretty affordable considering the fact that the store doesn't just take whatever people donate. It's a very nice curated selection and they have AMAZING vintage jeans!!

Maddy C.

Yelp
One of my favorite stores in Lexington! The employees are always knowledgeable and helpful. I couldn't find a ring in my size and they walked to the back of the store to get more inventory and even helped me dig through the huge bowl to find one! Their selection can't be beat and the decor is beautiful.

Yelp
This is the most ridiculous store I have ever been in. Heading out and the high-end consignment store myself I'm very familiar with prices and also here for mayor with vintage clothes as well as modernize the people who run this place have no clue what vantages. I personally called him prior to making a visit and specifically ask about the policy was on buying her si I personally called him prior to making a visit and specifically ask about the policy was on buying versus consigning. I had to managers tell me that I should bring in my full links velvet offer coach was a real beaver collar, a waste links real mink dated 1950 with no imperfections, and a great 1960s Jackie O coat I actually drove and made an appointment with these so-called experts and do you know they offered me $10 for all three pieces yet they have trashy dirty torn clothes hanging in there Store costing 10 times what you would be in a yard sale. I've given 50 Goodwill that is vintage and better than what they carry. However I will never do a return visit and I would encourage folks not to take anything out there until they visit. Personally I think they should stick to coffee and tea because they know nothing about clothes

Yelp
I love this little place! I got a large McCoy mixing bowl and a little wind up travel clock for less than $40. I love the random mix of old and eclectic. Can't wait to go back and see what other things I can find. Be sure to stop by here and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Loved, loved, loved this place!! Not only were there tons of vintage clothes, jewelry, undergarments, bags and other accessories, they also had a few awesome vintage pieces of furniture--an awesome old style couch that had been recovered in really bright playful colors (or maybe it was all new to look like an old shape, not sure) and an old library style reading chair that had a fun new fabric. Some prices seemed a little high, but others seemed more than reasonable. There was tons to see and try on, and they are evidently just starting construction on expanding--building dressing rooms at the back is what they said. Right now, the dressing room is the little bathroom. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and obviously love what they do. I'm not from Lexington, so without my GPS there is no way I would have found this place. Well, and also, I wouldn't have found it without the assistance of a girlfriend in Louisville who had already scoped the place out. It's also attached to a fun coffee and gift shop (forget the name of it). I will not go to Lexington without stopping here from now on! A must for the self-proclaimed vintage junkies like me!

Yelp
What a great store! Lots great vintage finds. Great prices! I go everytime I am in town. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Love this place! They have quite a selection of vintage apparel and decor. You never know what you'll find. If you like vintage you should really check it out.

Yelp
This place is absolutely adorable. Eclectic vintage items may be a little overpriced, but it is unique for Lexington and totally worth visiting! Then go nextdoor for a yummy cup of Joe at Coffee Times Coffee House and you're set.

Yelp
There's a lot of quality stuff at this place, and it has a really cool style. I just wish they had more of a guys section. All the guys stuff is just kinda put off in a corner.. It'd be great if there was more to choose from. It's just not really my scene because I am not to big on hats or button-up collared shirts. So I guess it's mostly my own fault for not liking it.

amy t.

Yelp
Street Scene is one of my favorite places in Lexington. I disagree with another reviewer that the vintage items are "over-priced." On the contrary, I'd call them right-on, and in some cases under-priced. What sets Street Scene apart from other vintage or consignment shops is the quality. They are very discriminating as to what they sell in the small place: perfect condition everything. Even if you're not "into" vintage I recommend a stop here. The ladies of Street Scene are almost fetishists of excellent taste and style. Their shop tells you this at every turn.

Yelp
I went in needing an appropriate 60's outfit when I demonstrated The Twist. The friendly staff immediately located a dress that fit great. When I got to the party, the first person said, "Wow, you look like Jackie Kennedy." I knew they had given me the perfect dress! Thanks so much! I'll be back.
