Saw the best band in the world there. Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners rocked the house! Strom was a great venue- good sound, clean and in a cool neighborhood!

Great concert venue! A lot of toilets for women, good Management of the que outside before the concert and friendly staff. 10/10

Intimate venue, decent sound. The bar and cloakroom are good, too. What I don't enjoy is that people under 1.70m that aren't in the front row won't enjoy the shows because the floor is too flat. Usually seeing the act helps!

Very cool venue in Munich! Had a lot of fun at a Wet Leg gig and will keep myself updated on what other artists perform here :)

Brilliant place for live music and dj sets

Beware the prices in the cloakroom! Even if you have a little scarf or a hat, they are charging 2.5 euro per piece! I never paid 15 euros in my life to a cloakroom! The concert was cheaper...wouldn't suggest!

Staff is very friendly from the security at the entrance to the bar crew and also the cleaning ladies at the bathrooms. The atmosphere was good at the disco 80’s party and the DJ had a nice setlist. However the saloon was too hot and not properly ventilated. The prices for the drinks was slightly above regular price for nightclubs around Munich but not necessarily expensive. At the night I went, there was some problem with the ladies bathroom so the only bathroom available was the gentleman’s one.

I like to go to this place as they are very versatile : they usually have nice parties with themes (ex: Burlesque, rock etc..). They also have some good bands coming quite often. DJ's that were playing some electro the last time were pretty cool too. You just have to check out their programs and pick the night that fits the best your expectations. The cocktails prices are alright( 8 euros for a long drink) entrance fee varies though, depending on the event. The venue is a bit rough inside and no real places to seat in general. Nether the less, I recommend for the good ambiance.

3.5 stars but since it's my neighorhood venue, I must give them some love. Strøm hosts many international indie bands that I like, so the potential is there! The venue is not too big, just how I like it. However, if it's a sold-out (or close to) show, then it can be choatic. We saw a rock band played there, and people were pushing each other, spilling beers, shouting. For me, I was engulfed within a circle of tall people that I had no chance of even seeing the band. Next time I go, a bit of better planning (go earlier) + better luck = better experience.
