Stubborn Mule Glendora

The pulled pork sandwich was a bit better than average, you can tell the meat was a good quality. The tots were served really hot and not greasy at all (maybe they air fry?) But the stand out here is the chili. This is in the chili cook off award winning category. It's dark inside, I guess it's an atmosphere choice, but at least they don't have the awkwardly high ceilings that makes places like this way too noisy. We did have to ask for utensils for the salad my friend had, but otherwise they were attentive.

I was immediately greeted when I walked in and was seated right away at the bar. The place was packed! I was given a menu promptly and asked if I wanted a drink. I ordered the Peach Berry Breeze. Sadly, I didn't take a picture of my beverage, as I enjoyed it too quickly. It was refreshing and delicious! I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Angus Burger with fries. My drink came out fast and right about the time I was finishing my drink my burger and fries arrived. Roughly 15 minutes later. The burger was cooked just the way I ordered, it was juicy and hot, the brioche bun was buttery, the cheese was nice and melted and the fries were hot and crispy! Just what I needed after a long day of traveling. Thanks for the amazing service and the delicious food!

Hard to find, small portion of food. This restaurant is not easy to locate if you come for the first time. It has a very small letter name plate, buried under another name. We didn't see it front the street, so we missed it. The sandwiches were OK, but in small portions. The deco inside was American classic and I felt relaxed and comfortable. The sandwiches were OK, but it is in small portion s and rather simple. I ordered a pastrami sandwich: the bread and other ingredients were modified and it was not original pastrami. The good thing is that it was not salty and rather light tasted. Other Tuna wrap was really small with very little Tuna. They are pretty expensive for such simple and small portion of sandwiches. However, the music was on and the vibe was OK, but I don't think that I will come back again.

Great local pub with a nice beer and app menu. Outdoor patio area is great. Awesome location in downtown Glendora. Very friendly servers.

Surprised by how good this place was. It's rare to find a place where the chicken is extra crispy without being overcooked. The wings and chicken wrap were delicious. And I will definitely be going back for their local red ale.

The Chicken tenders from here were amazing! Much better than any fast food restaurant and made me feel like a kid again. The food was inexpensive and staff were very kind and welcoming, I ate with a few friends of mine and the food came relatively quick. Overall good vibes and energy, I plan on coming again soon!

We walked in before closing on a Saturday night. Cool staff, lots of TV if you want to go watch the games. The prices are very affordable compare to other places and The food was good.

Nice place for food and drinks in downtown glendora. They have a very wide selection of beer, with different IPAS to choose from. A nice selection of cocktails and wine to choose from. The food is delicious and always fresh and well made. The tater tots were just the right amount of crispy, and the bacon was well made as well, crispy and delicious. The outdoor seating area is perfect for people watching on a sunny day, and the stubborn mule also has firepits to keep warm at night, firetowers too. Happy hour starts at 3 pm here. Some of the beer selection here is rotating, meaning they will always have something new to try. My go to is the west coast IPA and like to travel around and try different flavors, the stubborn mule was a good choice to stop and try something new. I would recommend this place for a party of people or even solo because they are likely to have something you like, both food and drink. Downtown glendora provides a nice walking experience to check out different shops after your meal, and to walk off some calories. It's a good place to bring your kids because they have crayons and a color sheet to keep them busy. After, you can go for a family walk and tire them out too. There are plenty of benches and mini-golf right outside (but the balls/putters are locked up I think?) Regardless it's a great area for a restaurant like this because the area and restaurant feeds off each other. This area needs more places like the stubborn mule, sunny outdoor seating with lots to look at and more stuff to check out within walking distance. This is definitely a kitchen and ale house to check out! You won't be disappointed! Cheers!
