Did the job for me, a place to lay my head at night while I’m Athens. I was personally hoping for a more social atmosphere and this was the least social hostel I’ve been to but maybe that was just bad luck. There’s a big communal space with a bar that stayed empty the entire time I was there. But the beds were clean and comfortable enough, the showers were recently remodeled and very nice, A/C works, and it has a great location.

Horrible, rude staff and fungus on wall, do not book this place! Check photos. One of the worst stays in my life, for 50 euros I faced almost sleepless night in a room with fungus on the wall, dirty and tiny bathroom, after 1h of quarreling with the owner and her son on the phone at 11pm on arrival. No customer service, no manners. They provided room not according to my booking and totally different than in the photos, blaming it on Booking and me making the reservation. Not a decent place at all. The attitude of staff and the way how guest is treated on arrival late night is beyond any level. The room was totally different than in the photos in Booking. I booked private room with 2 twin beds and the lady tried to accomodate me in a room with bunk bed which had no space for even standing in this room. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, horrible manners of the owners or rather lack of them. After 1h of stupid waiting and quarelling about room conditions the lady gave phone to me to talk to her son and he tried to "help me" by trying to convince me to cancel my booking so I wouldn't review it. So pathetic. The conditions are horrible, even as per hostel! Private room totally not worth 50 euros! Old floors which make sound, very tiny and dirty bathroom and toilet, everything is old and not renovated for years! Such standard I haven't seen anywhere, especially not in Europe and that in the capital! Owner shouting at late night, had to wait more than 1h to solve the situation and to know if I can even sleep there, she had a problem with me making the reservation at 9pm same day. She literally said that I can go and look for other place at 11pm! In the morning she started her show again after I said I am not staying here for another night no matter what. Thankfully I didn't pay ahead for the next night. Also no facilities, elevator is broken, no card payment, the AC in the room is old and there is no remote so you can't control the temperature or even switch it off, either you have to open window (loud street) or have the AC. There was a hole and fungus in the room on the wall, destroyed old floor, disgusting old blankets and bedsheets with holes. No warm water. Wifi was not smooth too and that in the middle of the night. Very unpleasant place. They were claiming I'm not the first customer who is confused by Booking, saying the photos are different than reality and that's fine for them, another guests having same problem and ofc they're not at fault. Rude, dirty, old/not renovated and unpleasant - that's all this place is about.

I came here on my honeymoon to be at the center of the historical center of Athens and this place delivered. It’s not fancy but has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the place is safe and the staff were kind. We found they were always around if we had a question and were happy to point us in the right direction if asked. Most of all though the location is perfect to see all of the sights and the price was very cheap for what you got. I would recommend to other couples on a budget.

This place isn’t the hostel type vibe you’d expect. Despite being able to speak Greek, the staff still weren’t helpful. We asked for suggestions for car hire, nearby gyms etc and it seemed like we were bothering them. Upon check in you can only pay cash, no receipt offered. The check in staff encourage leaving your room key in a small basket at the front desk so as to “not lose it” and they assured us it will be supervised all day. We chose not to follow this instruction. We came in an out of the foyer multiple times a day for 5 days and not once did anyone ask us what room we were in or to show some ID. The basket with the keys, we could’ve helped ourselves to anyones room key and taken what we wanted. Cleaners start cleaning the place at 7am and talk loudly and you can hear it right thorough the walls. They never gave us new towels or cleaned our bathroom. The bar which is supposedly open and staffed every night is the old grandpa just sitting in the courtyard staring at you and not offering any drinks. Only good thing about this place is the AC was cold and in working order. Take your money to another hostel instead.

Overall nice hostel, wonderful staff. Kind and helpful. Laundry is O.K price, and the accommodations are reasonable for the price. Fantastic location! The only complaint I have is that there are no lock boxes inside the rooms, this leaves travelers feeling a bit uneasy leaving their luggage unattended. But there is a safe behind the front desk to keep your important valuables, which is nice.

Rude staff, not understandable. Not adequate, unprofessional, not clean. We came into our room, we had no towels, no blanckets, we had to go get it ourselves. Very strong langage barrier. Matresses were very hard. Wouldn’t recommand. Though in terme of location it was very good.

Good location, fair price, nice staff. room is a bit small andin 2nd floor and elvator didnt work, but still its worth the price. i was in singel room with private shower for 55 euro. For 15-20 euro can be in dorms with shared batroom. the private room has also air condition and drayer and the reception open from 7 am till midnight.

Amazing service and super friendly staff. Our ferry ride got cancelled in short notice. They were really accommodating and found us room to sleep with no hassle. Our room was facing the street so it could get a bit loud at night. Other than that I'd recommend this place to all backpackers.
