Studio D'artisan Tokyo

I'm giving two stars because my boyfriend was successful in finding a pair of jeans he liked and i didn't have the best shopping experince. The shop is super small store and has very very little women's collection. It's just a small table in the corner and gives the impression it's a second thought with extremely limited styles. There are also very limited sizes as well and all appeal are in men's fit, with the exception of the apparel on the women's section. I tried on jeans and they were not a comfortable fit. It was either the waist and hip area were too rught but the legs were perfect, or the waist and hips fit ok but legs were way too loose. It gave me the impression that they didn't put much thought in designing for the female shape. The changing room also has a sign that says the se unity cameras are engaged, which I found concerning since it's a changing room... i'm going to give the benefit of the doubt think it's to deter shoplifters. There are also a lot of staff onsite, for such a small store. For such expensive jeans, they don't offer adjustments onsite. There is a sewing machine in the middle of the store.... it would actually be great marketing of craftsmanship if they altered the jeans after purchase. My boyfriend bought a pair and he has to roll them and he is 5'10. They also do not allow you to try on the shirts prior to purchase, but they allow people to try on jeans. This double make sense to me, but that's their business decision. For men, my boyfriend had a decent experince but as a women, I didn't enjoy the shopping experince.

Great for both men and women. This shop offers a variety of products from jeans , american casual style suits, and leathers. Jeans are relatively high OZs for those who love jeans!

Weirdest experience shopping in Japan so far. Salesperson looked like he didn’t want to sell anything to me. When I was polite and actually shared that I bought a lot Studio D’artisan in Osaka, and was a big fan of their clothes. After asking if I could try a jacket 5 times, he finally let me try it with a shirt over so the lining doesn’t touch me… And asked me to absolutely not move an inch. Very bad experience. Maybe a bit of a language barrier. I would really not recommend. Experience was very different from the Osaka shop, American Village, where I spent a lot. Day and night…

I received the most amazing attention from Kohei. I tried on and bought jeans and a jacket, and Kohei was super patient and attentive. They also made sure I had the jeans adjusted before I left Tokyo. Finally, the quality/price ratio is more than acceptable! Looking forward to coming back!

Bar none the best denim and workwear store on planet earth. The sales staff are incredibly accomodating. The service was like a 10⭐️ experience. And of course the goods for sale are out of this world good. To the staff, thank you so much for accomodating my requests. I wish I had infinite money because this was denim and leather heaven.

I buy here jeans,very helpful and friendly staff. The selection of jeans from the Studio d artisan brand was really large. I was satisfied with the visit.

Gorgeous store with incredibly high quality clothing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I was shopping for jeans and found that I didn’t find any of the pairs I tried were flattering on my particular body shape so left empty handed, however the construction and materials were beautiful. If I had a higher budget, I would have loved to have bought one of the leather jackets on display.
