recommended to those with strong interest in music and wine negative reviews miss the point.... very classic serious japanese style place studio mule is super curated.... if price is most important factor for you go somewhere else the wine list leans natural and rare, the music is all vinyl, and the vibe feels intentionally low key music selection is best in the city staff is kind, the space felt calm and personal if the wine and music don’t speak to you though, this might not be your spot

Truthfully I didn’t pay for my drinks so I can’t speak to the price and the fairness or unfairness. But I had a wonderful evening at Studio Mule for my birthday eve. The wine we were served was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was incredible. I spent close to three hours here and by the end befriended other patrons along with the owner who was happy to chat. My only feedback would sometimes the transition of the music cut into the ambience as the next tracks weren’t loaded this happened a few times and meant there was a lot of dead air or silence. What was played was beautiful but I definitely would hope that isn’t a regular occurrence. A gorgeous neighbourhood to stroll through after also.

Cute vibe, cool space in what feels like a random building. Was full of non-Japanese people when we went. Excellent music and sound system but the wine was the smallest pour I’ve ever seen and two glasses were 8600 yen. There’s no menu or prices listed anywhere so, buyer beware!

An awful disappointment. The prices are simply outrageous for what’s on offer: glasses of wine charged like rare vintages when they’re anything but exceptional. you can’t even choose or suggest the music by almost 2000 vynils around. Dont forget that tax not included in the bottle price clearly well hidden by the bartender.I won’t be coming back.

The place is minimal, and the design is pointy. HOWEVER, there is no Japanese wine for tasting, very few choice for the glass. The waiter won’t let you try it, way overpriced ( 2500 Yen for a glass ) the quantity is less than the sun in England, and he will have no problem charging you 1000 Yen to sit your ass on a uncomfortable chair. Go ahead ;)

Cozy and full of atmosphere, truly a special place. You can tell how much the owner and staff care about every detail, the music selections were very intentional depending on the vibe and mood. The wine collection was insane, take it slow and easy and you’ll have a lovely evening here

Such a great bar with high-quality sound system and music, fantastic selection and wine! The bar doesn’t have a food menu so probably good to come after dinner to have a glass of wine or two, and enjoy the music with friends. Koba San’s hand-made non-alcoholic drink is insane. You must try.

Overpriced. We paid 45.000¥ for two bottles of wine. The owner is so rude, really bad vibes. No transparency. The music was ok, but could be better.
