My friend and I had a great time learning about their products and history of studio naenna. We appreciate staffs kindly explain regarding their products and some processes. My friend likes woven scarfs. I like colorful Karen stripe purse. In order to see Patricia Cheesman Collection, you will need to contact a staff in advance through studio naenna email

A beautiful setting for an experience like no other. Traditional building houses an exquisite collection of handwoven texiles. The garden is lush with magnificent plants and song birds where the work takes place of tying, dying and weaving. The staff is knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend visiting this shop/workshop for an authentic experience.

This is a studio for coloring the fabric, it shows how to tie-dye, weave, and dye the thread. It is small but the decoration is very delicate, the main color of the building is brown and some of them are made of wood 🪵 It sells hand-made closes and also fabric to the people who live in the village and visitors.

We did an indigo dye technique workshop here and would highly recommend it. These ladies have so much knowledge, and willingly share the of history about natural dying and weaving. I bought some original and unique dresses and a embroidered piece from the gallery, all made with the same dying processes used for years here. Great setting out if town. Such a special experience and lovely ladies.

A place of wonders :) Patricia is a legit wise woman. Engaging, hilarious, down to earth and clear with the delivery of her vast expanse of knowledge on the eco dying realm. We enjoyed a 3 day workshop - harvesting, processing & dying with indigo. Definitely makes you appreciate the intricacies and labor intensive aspects of these hand crafts! Just wow! As for Patricia...I could have seriously listened to her talk forever. Both her and Lamorna Are Delightful humans! Artisans with an evident and active love for the Earth. How does it get any better? 💙💙💙💙

Excellent place! I signed up for the 1 week back strap weaving workshop via email about 2 weeks ahead of time and got quick replies with all the needed information. Very happy with what I learned and my finished textile. Each week they can teach 2 people, so it’s best to sign up as far in advance as you can. Everyone at the studio is very friendly and kind. The teacher is very knowledgeable and helpful, and there are plenty of English speaking people to help out with any translations. There’s a lot going on in the studio so you might get to see some interesting dyeing processes as well. I finished the entire process in 4 days but I’m generally speedy when I craft. Suggest you bring your lunch or else prepare to order delivery as it’s a bit far from restaurants.

I really appreciate natural dyes and have been interested in the history and use of indigo for many years. That is what attracted me to first come here. The friendly and knowledgeable staff and owners are what keeps me popping in from time to time just to say hello. I have had some products made here and some string dyed here which I then had made into a sitting hammock. Beauty and function! I like the interactions they have with village weavers and crafts women.
