#toast 539 — had to say that this is probably one of my favourite cafes in copenhagen that I do see myself coming back to. their house made focaccia is so lovely. perfectly fluffy, hydrated and has a soft chew. i got the anchovies with the egg and the slight saltiness in the anchovies were nicely balanced with the soft sweetness from the focaccia. this place feels like a sweet community- small, yet cozy. would recommend you to go on a cozy weekday :) follow @nomkakaii on Instagram for more toast travels!

Marvelous breakfast, went back twice! The egg omelette with anchovies and their little cucumber salad is a must, so fluffy and delicious. I substituted the focaccia for rye bread as I personally prefer and that paired very well. Their coffee is delicious as well. Recommend going in pairs or small groups as it gets very crowded.

Great coffee and eggs! Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Space is limited. I recommend getting there early to ensure you can grab a table. They offer interior and exterior seating when the weather cooperates. Also good selection of fresh pastries.

Great spot for breakfast! I really loved how the folded egg was cooked — perfectly soft and flavorful. The focaccia had such a nice texture, light but satisfying. I sat inside, and while the air didn’t flow very well, the atmosphere was still nice. Despite being really busy in the morning, the staff were attentive. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

had a delicious breakfast here. we arrived around the opening time and got a seat right away, however later there was a bit of a queue. the staff is very friendly and the ambiance is lovely! i had the breakfast place with jam and egg and it was great. a simple option but the ingredients are high quality<3

The spicy folded egg and nduja butter with cheese was so good and smooth. The coffee was nice, but I am a little bit sad because it seems the staff don't really have a system to manage their orders. I ordered my food, but they put it on the group table beside me. When other dishes came to our table, we reminded them that we still had another dish, but they didn't notice and just put it on another table again then we talked to the group and they also realized they had that dish already, so the problem solved!

Who would have thought a folded egg could be this good? Absolutely amazing dish and their salad were generous. Not the cheapest lunch in Copenhagen, but definitely one of the best ones!

went there on a rainy morning - only spot I went with a canopy to temporarily keep me from the rain so I didn’t mind the queue! The team were super friendly and attentive despite being busy. Good warm food (love the focaccia so much) cozy atmosphere with good vibes, glad I didn’t back out when I saw the queue, everything was worth it :))
