Our stay @ Athina Studios & Suites was the most relaxing time I've ever had traveling with a young family. Athina is the loveliest host, she was especially sweet to our daughter. Right from the start we felt very welcomed. All of the staff made our stay an unforgettable experience. We just left and are already planning our return. The rooms were well maintained and modern, which we love. The restaurant was amazing, the chef put alot of care into each dish. And lastly the beach was great. Half was perfectly sandy which my wife and child loved, while the other half had coral reef which was perfect for some easy shallow snorkeling with many different types of fish. I have already recommended to all my friends and family and like noted above, we will definitely be back.

Athina is a really fantastic place to stay on Plaka Beach. The owner Athina is a great host, you can feel how much the hotel means to her. The real gem is the breakfast full of home made delicacies. She created small paradise surrounded by yucca flowers. I highly recommend to stay there!

Being welcomed by the lovely, friendly Athina was the first taste of a wonderful stay. Athina lives here with her husband and they let out three rooms.||The room had a tiny kitchen with 2 hotplates, small fridge and very small bathroom, fine for one person and a lovely little balcony with sea views. ||The best part for me, it's just a stone's throw from a fabulous beach with great tavernas on the sand.||However I did find it a little hard to find and I walked past it dragging my luggage from the port. It's a 10 to 15 walk from the port but there's a lovely little square nearby with a supermarket and restaurants, then you can wander through the narrow cobbled lanes with lovely shops.

Athena and her staff were the most gracious hosts! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome from her key staff members, a personal meeting with Athena the owner, who gave us a full rundown of what Naxos has to offer and an intro tasting of Ouzo! We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary with them and our friends. They made us a surprise breakfast and homemade cheese cake to begin our special day. The rooms were fantastic and food spectacular. Make sure to sit on their beach in the private thatch covered lounges and enjoy the fresh food and drinks while listening to the sea. Just paradise, everything was perfect! Beautiful surroundings and facilities, outstanding beach and restaurants on the doorstep but mainly the wonderfully warm welcome from Athina and her lovely staff just made you feel instantly relaxed and at home. We are a family with three young boys and had been concerned before that maybe it would be more set up for peaceful couples but they have struck just the right balance of feeling boutique and luxurious but still family friendly. The boys have talked so much about Athinas since that we have already booked to return and can't wait! The breakfast is outstanding and the staff that run the breakfast are so lovely it just made the best start to every day, we are all still day dreamng about he food! And do not miss the cocktails!!

Went here with my boyfriend and had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly - they helped us rent a car, and had great suggestions for things to do on the island. Breakfast was a highlight - SO so good.

My husband and I just returned home from a fabulous stay at Athina’s beautiful resort. Owner Athina, along with her staff Olga, Angela, Lazarus and Keatriana, go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed and special. Athina helped me with a variety of things we wanted to do in Naxos and she arranged a wonderful couples massage for us on our terrace. The property is beautifully landscaped and has a very nice pool, bar and eating area. There are a total of 27 studios and suites, all different and lovely. We LOVED our room which was huge - it had two floors with very comfortable beds and two bathrooms and an indoor tub. It’s called the Deluxe Maisonette #1 and the top floor has a table for two and you can see the water/beach in the distance. Would be perfect for a family or group of four friends. We chose it because it’s the only one with a jacuzzi (bottom terrace in photo). Their daily breakfast is wonderful every morning (8-11 am) and their sunbeds on the beach are the most comfortable we have ever experienced. Wish we had more time there! The staff were the most welcoming and helpful we have had at a hotel. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the location is perfect. The pool area is lovely and quiet. If you would like breakfast there is a great buffet style selection changing everyday. The restaurant has the best food we have had on our two week trip, the beach is lovely and you will get amazing sunsets. Could not recommend this hotel more.
