I did not come here to receive free clothing or browse casually. I came as a paying customer, fully intending to purchase your products. Despite that, the attitude of the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. In particular, one female staff member wearing a hijab looked visibly annoyed from the moment I approached. She kept a constant frown on her face and showed clear irritation when I tried to look at the design by unfolding the product. Instead of providing any explanation, she snapped and told me to just state my size. If certain items are display-only, that should be communicated clearly from the beginning. Customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed for simply trying to see what they are buying. This experience makes me seriously question how this brand trains its employees. The staff’s behavior completely damages the brand image. Honestly, the service was so poor that I couldn’t help but compare it to Alo, a brand that is far more expensive yet consistently provides professional, respectful, and welcoming customer service. A brand is only as good as the people representing it—and unfortunately, this visit left a very negative impression.

The store does have fitting rooms, but the staff initially told me there were none. After I personally noticed that fitting rooms did exist, I was then told that they were too busy and I was not allowed to use them, and was instead asked to try the hoodie on in the store. As a female customer, it is completely inappropriate and uncomfortable to be asked to change clothes in a public area. What made the situation worse was that I later saw other customers being allowed to use the fitting rooms, which made the explanation given to me feel dishonest and unfair. The female staff member and the cashier working on December 23rd were especially rude and unprofessional. Their attitude was dismissive and lacked basic respect. In contrast, other staff members were polite and willing to help, and I want to acknowledge that difference.

I was genuinely so confused when we were asked not to touch any of the clothings because they were just for “display”. When we explained that we just wanted to take a look at the back of the hoodies, he went to the back and just handed us a newly, unopened one and just left it at that. We were so confused and had to awkwardly give it back. Also, asking the staff for help was extremely difficult and hard to follow-up with any questions without receiving a judgmental look and felt that I was forcing them to do their job :( I hope these reviews/complaints are being taken into serious consideration cause it is srsly concerning how they dont gaf about their customers. 🥸🥸

During a recent Sunday afternoon visit to the Stüssy store on La Brea in Los Angeles, we had a rather disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the employee at the door, who wore a hijab, came across as unwelcoming and made us feel like an inconvenience. We patiently waited outside as we waited for our turn to enter the store. Once inside, we started browsing the clothing,when we asked for specific sizes, my husband was able to get what he needed, but when it was my turn, the staff refused to let me try on the printed shirt I was interested in. Instead, they offered a similar shirt without the print, which didn’t help in assessing fit or style. The overall attitude from the employees made us feel as if we were a bother. They seemed disinterested and unapproachable, almost as if we were at a swap meet rather than a reputable clothing store. This lack of hospitality really diminished the experience and made us feel unwelcome. In the end, we decided not to make a purchase and left the store feeling disappointed. It’s unfortunate, as we expected a more welcoming atmosphere, especially for a store in that area. Unfortunately, due to the poor customer service, we don’t plan to return.

There was a lot to appreciate about my visit to Stussy LA! I bought two of the LA hoodies, a longsleeve, and a beanie. The guys inside told us that they were out of the short sleeve LA shirts (as of 1/18), so plan to pick up something else. You're free to try stuff on in the store if you're unsure about sizing, Stussy's clothing sizes tend to be a real TTS fit rather than baggy/tight, especially the hoodies and tees. I've finally got more stuff to add to my Stussy NYC collection!

I haven’t seen too much reviews on this Stussy location so imma put in my own experience. The reviews I’ve seen have been pretty negative so i definitely was a bit nervous going in, but the staff and service was amazing . This one lady that helped me out was so sweet. I had no problems when asking for different sizes or colors, and she was very patient with me and kind about it. I went on a Wednesday at about 6pm, and they had lots of the LA exclusive merch still in stock. It was also not busy at all, and there was no line. I was so relieved because I hadn’t seen much info on their availability with the exclusive clothing compared to other stores like the Honolulu Stussy location. So don’t be scared to go, I think it definitely depends on what days you go and what staff in working, but my experience was pretty good.

Went on a friday morning about half an hour after they opened and waited about 35 minutes in line! Staff were super friendly and brought out so many hoodies for me to try even while the store was busy and I was being indecisive. Definitely worth a stop if you're ever in the area or appreciate their designs!

Employees were mostly worried about looking cool. Instead of picking up the litter in front of the store, they decided to kick it to the neighboring store and when that store said something, they decided to kick the trash into the street. How about throwing the trash away? All in all Not a very welcoming experience, weird vibes and energy from the staff. First time I visited this store being stussy fan for years, I’ve decided I’ll have a better experience online. Will not return.
