A very tidy and cute restaurant at the heart of Aspen, Co next door to the Opera House and Dancing Fountains. Finding parking is a challenge but not impossible.
Food is great at unbelievable prices too. The staff was very friendly and the decor was very pleasing. We chose outdoor seating to enjoy the weather.
Would surely visit again.

Driving through Aspen we decided to search for local restaurants. One of the Mexican restaurants that popped up was this one. Once you learn to navigate the streets and find parking.
Walk down from street level to enter the restaurant on the left. There's also outdoor seating in a small concrete courtyard.
The place was pretty dead, but it was a Sunday afternoon. There was only one table occupied when we arrived.
They were quick to take our order and get us seated. You get chips and salsa with your meal. They were out right away. The chips are good. I've been places where the chips are stale or too hard, but not here. The salsa tastes like tomato paste, so it could be better. In fact, we were kind of over it, so we ordered the queso green Chile to go with the chips. It was good, but not great. Would I order it again? I think I would.
Our food came out rather quickly after we ordered. I ordered the big lunch burrito with chicken, rice and black beans. It comes with a side of green Verde sauce. It was good and healthy, which is what I was looking for.
The couple next to us came in maybe 5 minutes after us and got their fajitas in half that time after we received ours, so they were super quick there.
Refills could have been faster on our drinks. We went through half our meal without refills and needed refills at the start of the meal. I was a bit disappointed considering they weren't super busy and I tip based on fast my ordered drink is refilled.
We then ordered soppapillas. They were more like soppapilla chips with ice cream and like a Carmel sauce. It was good.
We paid and headed out.
Overall - would I come back? Probably not.

I stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon with my fiance and really liked their small patio area outside. They also had a good happy hour menu for drinks and some tacos. Our waiter was so nice and really funny and reminded is even when happy hour was ending. However, I will say that we were told it was less expensive to get a carafe of margaritas than getting 2 each, and then the bill came it was more expensive by a few dollars. Not a huge deal but didn't like the fact that we got a carafe for that reason and it didn't end up being true. But the salsa was great and the drinks were well made. Take a visit but keep in mind pricing compared to happy hour!

What a treat! Warm, friendly and attentive service paired with fantastic food and drinks! Everything was fresh and delicious! It’s on the lower level but don’t let that scare you!

Worst Mexican food ever ... bland no spice ,veins still in Chilli Rellieno, stail chips and shrimp taco was swimming in salsa to where you couldn't even pick it up .
I understand it is in Aspen and they keep it bland for all the people that live here but dang keep it a little Mexican and don't completely sell out .
And don't use salt shakers they are corroded will green mold looking rust on the inside of shaker .
