A lovely boutique hotel very central and convenient in Valletta and everything is in walking distance. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast had limited options but very adequate. Staff werr welcoming and friendly. Only couple of issues why i didn't give 5 stars. We've had a room with no windows and the air con in that room is not powerful enough. We've turned it down to 16c (lowest you can set) and we were still too hot and had couple of bad night sleep due to waking up at night for being too hot. The air con seems to be a small old unit so not too surprising it is not powerful enough. We've asked the receptionist but seems that there were nothing much they could do. The other issues we've had was the room not being able to open. The staff told us this was due to the battery in the lock being low. They did fix this the next day for us so it didn't cause too much inconvenience to our stay. Overall nice hotel and would consider staying again if air con issue can be resolved.

I had a wonderful time and the service was exceptional. I was so surprised when the chef offered to make me an Indian breakfast as he had noticed from my name I might like this. It was small touches like this that made me feel so comfortable. The ladies on reception were so welcoming, always smiling and asking if I needed anything. The breakfast was really good lots of options for vegetarians and as mentioned before even a specially prepared Indian breakfast for me. Location of the hotel is perfect, right near the cathedral but walking distance to bus and ferry terminals so easy to go on all trips. Room was fine, needed a little airing but was ok.

Wish we could give this hotel a 4.5. We booked the Grand Harbour Sky Villa which had a wonderful view. It was a very nice room except we had a few minor issues with the bathroom. The stand-alone sink had no place to put any toiletries. Had to move a table over next to the sink. It was dimly lit with no overhead lighting above the mirror. Had breakfast on our terrace each morning which was wonderful. The food was very good. The service was very friendly, but we did have some confusion over confirming a booking we made that was not through the hotel. Not sure why the hotel had to get involved. That was a bit irritating. But, aside from those things, we enjoyed our stay.

We made a big mistake. We chose this place based on positive reviews and beautified photos on booking.com. We changed this hotel after the first night. Why ?||The rooms are very damp. The bedding is soaked with moisture. We have never had such an experience before. Maybe you can expect such a stay for 50-60 Eur. per night, but not after paying this price.||Towels, bathrobes which were once white, now stink and have turned gray.||The room size 20 m² is a total scam. Maybe they measured the room's hallway, stairs and open toilet with an open shower, because there is barely any space to turn around in the small sleeping area. ||Last but not least, please look at the real picture of the "Terrace". I would suggest changing the title "Spacious room with a furnished terrace" to: "Very small room with open toilet and private smoking area".||Breakfast ok.

Excellent hotel situated in the heart of Valletta within walking distance to many of the major tourist attractions, shopping streets, restaurants, bus and ferry connections, nightlife and museums. The hotel room was clean and colourful. Great bed and facilities. Good breakfast and a wonderful staff. The only issue we experienced during our stay was with the AC - it was dripping water on the floor (which made noise + some pools of water - hence the 4 stars), but we told the staff and they were service minded and attentive to our situation, and did their absolute best trying to help us out and make us comfortable. The staff is also very knowledgable about Malta so do ask them for any tips or suggestions! As someone mentioned in a previous review the hotel does not have a road entrance for cars, but it’s basically a 20 second walk down some stairs from the accessible road, and there you are. Will definitely consider staying here the next time we visit Malta!

A great small boutique hotel on a quiet street. A renovated old townhouse with just a handful of bedrooms. Very spacious room. We had a twin bedded room (2 doubles). Great breakfast - a varied selection of both cooked foods, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and savouries.
