Suburban Baths

Don’t skip this public bath just because it’s outside the city wall! There are several beautiful murals and mosaic here. The most interesting one was the locker room’s naming system of the lockers: beside numbers, sex positions were illustrated to help bathers remember which lockers they used.

Easily missed in the excitement to enter Pompeii, but it has a stunning cupid mosaic and some quite naughty wall paintings.

It good to explore! You can spend a whole day there.
