Succulent Coffee

Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely adorable! It feels like a little hidden gem. There are countless succulent plants everywhere, adding such a fun vibe. I ordered the Dirty Chai, and let me tell you, it's my absolute favorite coffee! ☕ The entire spot is spotless, making it such a delightful place to hang out and enjoy some time. I just love it!

This is one of my favorite places in Oceanside to just sit and chill and enjoy a lovely surrounding! Coffee is delicious and service is good. However, after breakfast today, I hurried over to make sure I had enough time to sit and enjoy. Hours stated it was open until 1pm, but when I arrived, the doors and entire cafe was shut down at 12:30pm. I took the train from San Diego and was extremely disappointed. This place used to be open Sundays until 3 and had live jazz and now it apparently closed pretty early.

I had such a wonderful experience here. I came early in the morning on a weekday. I had a very nice chat with the owner and enjoyed exploring the space. The hot chocolate I ordered was the perfect remedy for the cold and gloomy morning.

On my journey to reviewing most of the local coffee spots in this area. Coffee is pretty good. Neutral tasting with a unique environment. Note* you need your physical card here. Venmo is an option.

Such a beautiful spot!!! It was one of the most unique coffee shops we visited during our stay in Oceanside. The decor is beautiful and the location very unique. The service was excellent. Delicious matcha as well as lemonade.

I really enjoy this locally owned coffee shop that is an extension of the Brick Hotel. The service is always friendly, and coffee is fresh with all of the non-dairy options. I recommend the lavender latte. Make sure to bring cash because their system doesn’t allow for tips. They should fix that as the barista is awesome! My only other wish is that there was more seating. It is rare to find an available seat on the weekend mornings.

I brought my friend, a certified plant lady visiting from out of town, to Succulent Cafe after spotting it on Yelp--and wow, it did not disappoint! I'd been to the cocktail bar Frankie's out front before, but this was my first time exploring the cafe behind it. The vibes here are incredible! Plants everywhere, gorgeous photo ops around every corner, and yes, you can even buy some of these beauties to take home! We ordered coffees, and our barista was super friendly and welcoming. My friend got a hot lavender latte (half sweetened) while I went for the iced salted caramel latte. Both were perfection! We were honestly in love with everything: the coffee, the ambiance, the plants, and the good vibes. If you're in Oceanside and love plants or just want a unique, chill spot to grab a coffee, Succulent Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

This succulent cafe is the cutest! Super chill and a nice spot to grab a drink and relax. You can even purchase some of the succulents which is great. The person who took our order also made our coffee. I ordered a lavender latte and tasted some lavender, but it was quite light. Not sure what coffee beans are used, but the caffeine pick me up was lacking.. The menu is at the cart, so you'll have to walk up the stairs and up to the cart to see the menu. Coffee/drinks only. No food. Restroom is in the brick hotel.

This places is ACTUALLY a hidden gem. We walked by it hundreds of times before and never saw it. WOW! I won't walk by it anymore that's for sure. Pete made us a great coffee and our lion loved the vibe! The plants and sitting area is pretty awesome.

A Welcome respite from the Thursday night Sunset Market. Drinks are nice and would recommend the place when you want to sit down and take a break from all the walking. A little hidden but worth finding especially for the cool breeze and shade

This place caught me by surprise! It is in between 2 buildings, such a cool innovative idea. They really transformed the space into a peaceful oasis. Peter helped us out and was super kind. The coffee tasted good! I got the lavender latte! You can by any of the succulents, so you know we had to get one! Peter told us about the succulent we picked! I can't wait to make this place one of my regular stops!

Cute little coffee spot with lots of plants! Service is good and friendly. I got a hot pumpkin spice chai with an espresso shot and it was delicious and definitely hit the spot! There are a few seating options inside if you want to chill. Also definitely a spot for photo opportunities :) I got lots of cute ones here! Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Amazing little coffee & succulent shop! Barista is kind, cheerful, and makes a delicious americano! Succulents are just incredible. If I lived nearby, I'd be in trouble with buying too many!! A perfect spot to relax & grab an espresso drink.

I came to the Succulent Coffee and enjoyed this small & mostly hidden gem of a café and found it to be unique in its theme and very appropriate for those who want to enjoy their caffeine within a quaint & mostly quiet location. The Succulent Coffee is located in Downtown Oceanside, and can be entered either from The Brick Hotel, Stone Brewery or from a side entrance doorway that leads to Tremont St. It's precise location is BEHIND Frankie's Bar and in the space between Stone Brewery. It's rather quaint really. This spot is a gem for those who love greenery and succulent plants. The interior decor and walls is based on this theme and there are many for sale too. It also has an open-roof concept that allows for ample sun lighting. The interior is also elongated and narrow , with a small nook n cranny alley that focuses on more succulents. It's a very unique concept. The menu is very simple and straightforward. There's table seating with simple chairs. I would not consider this an "internet café", but more like a place to enjoy caffeine with greens There's only 1 worker and that's the owner. He is friendly when you get to know him and although the brand is a chain, this café definitely gives off "small owner" vibes. *Update: As I've just learned from the owner, I was corrected and happy to announce that this is NOT a chain and is, indeed, a small family business * Overall, I enjoyed my chai tea and this is nice spot for a caffeine pitstop.

A peaceful little outdoor corridor shop with seating, heat lamps, & free wifi. Only cash & Zelle accepted for now; I prefer the ol' dirty green. It sounds like they've only been open at this location for a few weeks, waiting on other payment processing & probably food options. There was no drip coffee, so I went with an Americano. The server/owner was very friendly. The location is relaxing & peaceful. Plenty of street parking.

This spot is such a hidden gem. The gentlemen who was running the coffee shop was very friendly and accommodating. I needed a quiet place to do work (with internet) and drink coffee and this place hit all of the wickets. Even after they closed he said I could stay as long as I needed to. I will come back next time I'm in Oceanside and recommended this place to everyone I speak to. Oh yeah and to top it off the coffee is on par as well.

This is a cute little coffee shop attached to the hotel. Peter served me, he made the best hot London dog I've tasted in a while. It's nice and quiet and surrounded by succulents. Peter was also very friendly and as I was sitting there enjoying my tea, I also noticed that he talked to every customer with such kindness.

Succulent Coffee is tucked away in a little alleyway. There's a ton of succulents along the walls that make for a really cute aesthetic. The coffee itself was decent. They were cash only which I didn't know until after I ordered and my coffees were made. Luckily, they accepted Zelle.

This is a really cute place surrounded by succulents which I love. I got a lavender oat milk latte that was really good & picked out two succulent plants to buy for home. Peter was also very nice, would definitely go back

Ambiance is great, coffee was honestly undrinkable. Americano tasted like dishwater and much too hot. I had to wait 30 minutes to be able to take a drink and then I had to throw it out. Also no desserts or foods. They recommend your go across the street to Madeline's and they aren't wrong!! Perhaps it was the barista or a one off, will try again because the space is darling.

This was such a cute and relaxing coffee shop in an alley behind the Brick Hotel. The gentleman who helped me is I believe the owner and I got a wonderful hot pumpkin spice chai from him. It was really nice to sit amongst all the succulents on display and for sale. Definitely recommend. I feel the term "hidden gem" is overused these days, but in this instance it is true!

So excited to have Succulent Cafe back in Oceanside. I love how welcoming this coffee shop is! It is also fun to see all the unique plants they have as decor!

Beautiful setting, calm, relaxing, peaceful place for a cup of coffee or tea while surrounded by healthy succulents from ground level to 3 stories high. Peter has 2 green thumbs for sure. Highly recommend his place.
