A 'fine dining like' joint nestled in an old building. Food's good, had the lunch set and picked the seafood arrabiatta pasta + mushroom soup. Came at a hearty portion and I enjoyed every mouthful of it. Everything was good except the price - it's not for the faint hearted. Suggest to check the menu + price online before making a drastic decision to dine here to avoid cardiac complications...

We gathered for our ex-classmate’s farewell and chose to have high tea at Suffolk House. It was a delightful experience, with a wonderful assortment of cakes, sandwiches, scones, tarts, mushroom pies, and a variety of teas. We loved the elegant ambiance and the serene garden, adorned with century-old trees. The service was excellent, and we truly appreciated the helpful staff who assisted us in capturing our memories with photos. It was a memorable afternoon, and we look forward to returning again.

Been back to this place multiple time for celebration as well as just for a night out dinner. Our latest visit for valentine day dinner was one of the best. We were serve by Garib, he was attentive & polite making the evening all the more pleasant. The steak here is one of the best found in Penang, I can't recommend it enough.

Our wedding was held in Suffolk House 11years ago. Today, my husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The ambience and food are excellent! The staff member Mr Galib was very attentive. Highly recommend this place.

Nice environment, we were here together with our baby for Lunch and were served by Galib. He made sure that there’s no sound when he served us so it doesn’t wake my baby up, such a warm gesture from Galib! 😊

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with lunch here at Suffolk House Restaurant. Galib was our server and he has been attentive to our needs, especially to the photo taking :) The food is reasonably priced, large portions and simply delicious as well as creative! Highly recommended for anyone who travel to Penang Island to come here for a meal.

Had a great dinner experience here for our anniversary. Food was excellent. I cannot recommend the Lamb Shank enough, please try it. Actually all the food items were exquisite. Service is good. As it was a weekday we almost had the entire place to ourselves. Will visit again for tea.

We visited this spot to explore a potential wedding venue and took the opportunity to have lunch there with my fiancée. The setting was calm and pleasant, with lots of greenery outside and a cozy indoor space with soft background music. The service was great; Ms. Yeo and Rafiq were both friendly and attentive. Our food came out in a reasonable time, and the dishes had a nice mix of Western techniques and Asian flavors, showing the chef’s careful touch. Given the quality of the food, service, and the lovely setting, the prices felt fair. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d be happy to come back.
