"This café is family friendly, but do not let your kids loose in this store. They will come back completely wired on sugar, and you will be left to pay the damages. However, definitely come here yourself for sugary treats that are 100% worth breaking your diet for. My Sugar is a comfy and casual chocolatier and coffee shop that has a dizzying array of high-end treats. To enter is to climb the candy-coated stairway to heaven." - Brand New Creative

Great value and location. I was greeted by Oncemore and he was very kind and remembered my name and said hello each time he saw me. As a solo female traveler, I felt totally safe. My room was very small, but clean and worked just fine for my one night stay. Bedding comfortable. I also heard a lot of noise from traffic, but being from a city, it didn’t bother me whatsoever. Sweet dog in the hallway was also a bit of a comfort. Breakfast and cappuccino were included in my fee. Great start to the day! Location is excellent. Only .2 mi to market and restaurants. And approx 10 min easy walk to the busy marina and shopping area! Considering the price, it seems a good value.

Although clean the description of the hotel was not accurate as what was on booking.com||Not a real reception, nor restaurant, and no lift. This should have been mentioned in the booking.com description ||The spa was a joke, located behind reception behind a window.||In the bedroom we have no 7 we had rain water running in via the lights both in the bathroom and WC as well as the bedroom. Basically a free cold shower.|| ||We left 2 days after we arrived out of our planned 10 nights there.||They refunded 50% when they would have refunded on a pro rata basis as a minimum. They didn't even apologise. ||Will not recommend this to anyone. Especially that they are advertised at a premium over many far better hotels which were proper hotels.||Stop ripping people off by fake advertising...

I've not stayed at the hotel itself although it looks lovely. The experience at the spa however was really not great, the towels given were clearly not fresh and we could see it had already been used, rolled up and reused, we had to request fresh towels. The massages are very average and not good at all.

I dont normally leave bad reviews as i feel that everyone deserves a chance. But the Sugar Hotel in Ct has allowed me to make an exception. The worst hotel with shocking service. Room was not at all what was advertised. (Large double room with city view) not so much! Not even a window. Upon complaining i was met with hostility and arrogance and told its not their problem and i have to deal with the OTA (Agoda) that i booked through. They were argumentative and rude and unhelpful. Both managers on duty. |Refused to give me owner’s details.|Room is matchbox size |Shocking.

This nice small hotel just was perfect for me. I felt comfortable. Large rooms with a large bathroom and all amenities. Dstv and WiFi. Breakfast was amazing. Laundry service was quick. I could walk to all the places I needed to go within 15mins.

Very nice staff. Worst hotel room I have ever had. (There have been worse motel rooms ). It was in the basement and felt like it was in the basement There was only 1 window, 3feet by 14 inches, well above head height. It was in the shower which was also in the room.

I can only comment on the 1-hour massage experience—it was positive! Lelo is kind and professional, and I couldn't fault her massage technique. My room had soft music and good air-conditioning, which made it an extra comfortable experience. Sure, the rooms are super basic and the towels a bit shabby, but it didn't affect the quality of the massage itself for me. I can imagine noise from the outside can be distracting on busy days, but I was lucky to have my massage at a quiet time.

Its totally different to pictures, rooms are small and untidy, dogs were found at the reception, only two parking spot available ( apparently they will wake you up in your sleep if you block anyone in the parking because its small), showers looked untidy. We couldn’t sleep there, we had to cancel the booking and look for another place. DEFiNETLY NOT A FIVE star hotel.
