I had my first spray tan with Shaniqua, and it was such a great experience! She was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the whole process. Since it was my first time, I took longer than expected to get ready, but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She explained everything clearly and made sure I felt at ease :) The tan turned out beautiful and even. Thank you for such a positive experience. (I only wished I was more aware of the tan line placement, but that’s my own fault I guess)

My experience at the upper east side location was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Kayla did my spray tan and was very nice and answered all questions I had. I rarely get a spray tan but felt it was needed for my friends winter wedding. I was a little nervous because the last time I got a spray tan was over 5 years ago but the tan came out really well. I did a test run before the wedding and I got shade 2. It looks very natural and not orange at all. I will be going back to get my next spray tan for the wedding! If I have another special occasion in the spring/winter I will definitely be back to get a spray tan! 10/10 experience

I never leave reviews but my experience here was so wonderful. It was my first spray tan and Crystal explained everything so thoroughly and made it such a nice experience. The tan itself came out perfect too. Will absolutely be returning!

The associates here are super wonderful! Had a great experience with the sugaring. My tan did fade faster than I thought (lasted a little over a week), but I also was traveling and only left it on for 3 hours (the minimum time required). Will definitely try again!

Staff was just soo supportive and nice! I got to my appointment late and after explaining my situation to them, they managed to squeeze me in even though they were booked. Not only were they so considerate and accommodating but they were super efficient and definitely knew what they were doing. This was my first spray tan so I definitely was a bit nervous, but the woman who did it was super professional and made me very comfortable. I had a modeling job the next day and the tan was perfect for what I needed :))

I’ve been getting spray tans at Sugared + Bronzed on the Upper East Side for a few years now, and I can confidently say it’s the best spray tan that I've found in NYC! The staff is super friendly, and booking an appointment is easy. I have very fair skin, so finding a spray tan that looks natural has always been a challenge, but their formula is flawless. I’ve done Level 1, 2, and 3 depending on the season, and every time, the result is even, streak-free, and beautifully bronzed—never orange or too dark. As long as you prep and moisturize, the tan lasts about a week and fades evenly. If you’re looking for a reliable, natural-looking tan with amazing service, this is the place to go! 💛✨

I have the monthly membership which I highly recommend if you come at least once a month. The spray tan artists at this location are much more talented than the Upper West Side location so I started coming to this location even though it's further away.

Today was my first time getting sugaring. Given the intimate nature of the procedure, I want to say, it was a very professional. I will come back, and I will recommend to my friends. The lady who did the sugaring was named Destiny, and I will request her in the future.

Such a fabulous team over at S & B at the UES location. Easy access to the Q train, & a short distance to Central Park, too. I stopped by for a spray tan as I had a photo shoot lined up with STRONG Fitness Magazine two days later. The girls helped with deciding that level 2 would be the best choice to stick with . I ran the '97, '99 and '03 NYC Marathons, and though now my training is mostly 2-3 days a week of weights with 5 days a week of cardio conditioning (walking, eliptical or rowing), the "polishing touches" of a spray tan are greatly appreciated and needed at a photo shoot at my age of 55+. I recommend Sugared & Bronzed for any special occasion, whether it's an anniversary, wedding or special date. You'll love your results:-). The quality and color is fabulous and the ladies are very professional.

New-ish to waxing and had a great experience here. The staff were friendly and were careful to leave my skin feeling good. The space is clean and cute.

Clean, professional and very nice staff. It seems like everyone was satisfied with their experience when leaving this place including me but my only complaint was my tan was definitely not even. It is natural looking, doesn't smell and is not sticky but one arm is lighter than the other as well as my legs and all in different areas. I'm not sure I will try it again. I am updating this review after being contacted by the business manager who offered to refund my money etc. that means a lot to me and I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend this place just for that kind of customer service and would like to return and give it another shot. That was so nice of them. Thank you.

Just got a beautiful spray tan. I find it to be the most natural. The staff is always pleasant and they do a nice job. My tan is even and natural. The place is always so clean and they have nice booths for tanning with space to change. I also love that it lasts almost 10 days!

After a not so great experience my previous visit, I was a bit apprehensive on returning. I love this location because it's so convenient to get to from the Bronx, and everyone is extremely pleasant. This time, I was sugared by a sugarista who was helping out the upper east side location. Corrine was amazing! She was quick and so gentle. It was easily the most pain free experience I've had in a while. I may have to visit the BK location just to get sugared by her again.

I love sugared and bronze whether it's for sugaring or tanning the service is always ten out of ten. The service is also consistent across all of the locations. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The locations are always clean and beautiful'

Got a Brazilian today and it was not the best experience. The sugarist got sugar stuck and kept tugging at the same place making it ver hurtful and raw, and was going over areas repeatedly with hard sugar with so much pressure that was so painful. When she was finished I was left with a lot of hair at the bottom and was told my skin was too Moist. I then asked her if she can please remove some more and to also tweeze. You can tell you didn't want to do it was in a rush and was hurting me. Being that she did the service despite my experience I still wanted to tip, at the register I was basically forced to tip a certain amount without warning or an option. Last time I checked the customer decides how much tip is given based off the experience and so forth. Not coming here again, I was left with hair and raw, rushed out, then had the Audacity to force a tip

Gosh it feels good to be tan. Loved Sugared + Bronze. They do just the right amount so it doesn't look fake. Well done!

I've had a lot of spray tans in my life but this one lasts the longest and it's the most natural looking! I love that they airbrush you so there's no missing spots from posing in front of a machine either! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Writing this review because I didn't realize how painful my experience was until I went somewhere else for a Brazilian. When I got it done at sugared and bronzed a few months ago it was my first time ever getting waxed and I thought the excruciating pain was just how it was but I'm now realizing that is the furthest thing from the truth. I don't know if my tech was just inexperienced, but I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy. They apply the sugar in the opposite direction of the growth and the application alone had me quietly tearing up. The tech didn't count down or tell me to breath out as she ripped the sugar off my skin. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this was excruciating on another level. Was so nervous to get it done again but after going somewhere else I now know this is not normal at all.

Have been coming to sugared and bronzed regularly for a little over two years now , and have to say this is one of my favorite locations. All the staff here are consistent and are very accommodating and will take the time to explain things to you if needed . Highly recommend sugaring over waxing as it's less painful and last longer . The pricing is pretty decent and they offer monthly subscriptions at a cheaper rate - which I highly recommend since the credit rolls over .

This place is always a 10/10. Ive been to 3 locations (union sq, murray hill and UES) and each time my experience is wonderful. All the techs are knowledgeable and trained to perfection. I refuse to get a spray tan anywhere else.

Have been getting spray tans the past few months for events. The staff has been super helpful in selecting which shade I should get based on the event and very attentive to making sure every area is covered and even. My spray tans have always come out amazing when I come to S+B! And the staff is the best here!

It was a pleasant experience. Place was clean and no wait time. Sugaring specialist was very welcoming and friendly and she was quick as well. The whole process took around 20-30 mins. Bonus - if you are first time customer you will get next one free. They also offer monthly membership of $49 that can be used once a month and if you skip the month for any reason amount will be added to your next month. However, if you would like to have sugaring two times in a month then you will need to pay regular price of $59 for the second sugaring in a month. I've tried so many different places for sugaring and I definitely recommend them. So far they are the best in NYC. And also if you are considering sugaring over the waxing, go for it! Your skin will be much smoother and hair regrows a lot slower compared to waxing. Where waxing is very painful and leaves you with skin irritation.

I've never done a wax before, and I came in today super nervous to do a Brazilian and my underarms. I have a VERY low pain threshold and I'm a pretty anxious person. The woman who did both my sugaring was named Ty, and she could not have been more amazing, patient & understanding. She made me laugh the entire time and made me so comfortable! First time waxing legs and at S + B was great! I've been doing hard waxing at EWC for two years and I had far less pain with sugaring. Definitely recommend!

This was my first ever spray tan. I was worried about being blotchy around the wrists and ankles, however the tan came out very smooth with no streaks. I was very impressed, I'll be going back!

I got athletes foot from this salon. Please change your towels between client use! That's the bare minimum they can do.

They do a fantastic job. Every time I have been, they're always on time and I never have to wait. I'm usually in and out in less then 15 minutes. Everyone I've met is always very nice and helpful when you walk in or if you have any question. The salon is also very clean and tidy.

I had the most positive sugaring experience here. I felt so pampered and taken care of! The experience felt so unique to me and I felt that the ladies that did my brazilian wax and armpit wax were so thoughtful and wanted my experience to be so good. They made conversation with me and put my mind at ease. The results were amazing the hair grows back so slow, sparse, and thin. I'm obsessed.
