Sugbutel Family Hotel

My 2nights stay was all good. I stayed here because my testing area was just on the 4th floor of the hotel building. My only concern was, you can hear the cracking of the bed everytime you move. It was a bit noisy for me. It needs to be checked to avoid guest discomfort. Thankfully I switched the other extra bed and its ok. Everything is working except on their television. The staff informed me upon check in. Internet connection ok. Location ok. You can walk to SM and Robinsons approximately 15mins walk. But for me its better to ride taxi for your safety since the place was quiet because its Pier area. What I like the most was Kuya Guard. Very Welcoming and Smiles all through out. Thank you it was a good stay.

I booked 2 rooms and paid bank to bank when I was in Africa so we have a place to stay when we arrive Cebu. Booking was done online. We made calls. Staff are so accommodating. Our flight was moved 5 days later. The hotel staff has no problem moving our dates. They were so accommodating. Serving their clients are more important for them than the booking. Room was nice, clean, and tidy. Airconditioning works well, TV, shower, etc,,, were good. The price, very affordable. They provide free simple breakfast, and you can have it from around 5am.

Room is very basic with cheap price. I can’t ask more, I picked here only because of near the SM mall and it is super cheap.Not recommended because the sound proof is very bad. But if you only look for budget travel. Can try.

Stayed only 1 night before the return flight. Walkable from the bus station North ( +/- 500 m ). Room basic but everything you need, air conditioning and water jet shower ok. Breakfast simple but available early. Price correct.

Got checked in immediately. No hassle and was fast. Room was clean and aircon was nice and cold. CR was clean but shower/faucet was broken as in they would both be running, the mechanism to turn the faucet off and only have the shower running was broken. Bed was firm but bedsheets were super loud so we did not sleep all that great the whole night, pillows were also a bit flaccid, they collapsed when you laid your head on them. Breakfast was decent but no options, only one set meal and either coffee or hot chocolate but it was served fast because everything was precooked. I love that this is THE place to stay if you have an exam with Misnet because it is literally the same building. Not the greatest hotel but I guess it will do if you have no other options. Check out was fast as well.

Sugbutel is best due to its proximity to SMCity Cebu, the Cebu North Bus Terminal, various inter-island shipping lines. Hotel rates are cheap, with rooms very clean and continuous hot-water supply! If your room is facing the main road, you can get used to traffic noise outside, by having your own earplugs or headsets. But the most loveable experience was the 1st-Friday Catholic⅚ mass celebrated in the main-lobby. I wasn't expecting that at all, very intimate! There's ample parking around with Security Guard on duty 24/7. I wish to come back very soon! Thank you Sugbutel Staff!

Rented 5 rooms for the family and I was not disappointed. The rooms that we stayed in were recently updated and looked very nice. It was very decent for the price and the beddings and towels were better than most. The location is very close to SM and not that far from the Basilica. It also about a 20 minute drive to the airport. It is also located near a bus terminal that brings you to Mactan airport.
