"Facing Two Squares This pastry shop brings me back to my childhood. When my father and brother would go to see Benfica (one of the most important football teams in Portugal), my mother and I would come here to have an ice cream or a cake. Who can resist sitting in its esplanade, facing Rossio or Praça da Figueira and catching some sun? In the old days, free thinkers would gather to drink to liberty, and women sat for the first time on an esplanade having a coffee. By the way, Suiça was the first café/pastry shop to serve croissants in Portugal."

I did not stay long. I only took a coffee and some Pastel de Nata. The pastries are good. Coffee is good. The place is clean and the staffs are motivated.

Good Place for a cup of wonderful right coffee in the early morning. It’s open at 7.00, no lines, nice waiters. In the midday it’s crowded (obviously) and I would not even expect immediate service there)

Outside staff not friendly at all. We ordered a piece of chocolate cake. It was terribly dry and stale. Seemed at least a day old. When we told the staff he didn't even apologise. Instead insisted I go inside and tell the chef. I asked him if they had anything else fresh and he didn't bother to bring an alternative. I'd expect better service if you're charging 2euros for an espresso in Lisbon.

Obnoxious Manager he was extremely rude, I have never experienced such an ill mannered man in my life before when we complained about the tasteless, watery coffee. No apology and when he thought we were not going to pay threatened us with the Police!! Coffee, service truly overpriced, would not suggest this place to anyone. The Manager needs to go on a Hospitality trading course!

We stayed 1 minute, we were 6 people and we asked for teas and the waiter was not friendly at all, like we bother him. We stood up and went somethere else (just in front at Nicola). So don't come to this place.

15.60 euros for 2 little glasses of port, while sitting at the outside table. Dealers peddling weed less than 10 meters away, while cops pass by every couple of minutes or so pretending not to notice anything. All this on a sunny afternoon in June. A tourist trap by all definitions. If that's your kind of thing then go for it, otherwise keep walking, as this city has plenty more to offer

Terrible, tasteless food, worst service. Dirty, unpleasant. Spoiled my day in Lisbon after we had an awesome tour around the place. Waiters, including management, think their guests owe them something. All the have is a great location. Don't be fooled.
