We had a junior suite on the 3rd floor facing the small street for 2 nights which was spacious and well appointed. We were genuinely surprised at how big the room was and very happy to have a few kitchen implements to use. However there is noise at night emanating from the nearby bars which may affect your sleep if you don’t wear ear plugs like me. The rooms at the back would be better as while there was a small balcony on ours, we didn’t use it.|The bathroom is quite small but adequate. Staff are very friendly and helpful as previous reviews have stated. Luggage storage and having a kettle in the room were key factors in choosing this hotel plus the area which is great. If not for the noise at night I would give it 5 stars as would stay here again in a room at the back.

Excellent location, central to their old town and walking distance to a huge selection of restaurants, cafes, tapas places and one or two floor shows.||My room was on the top, 4th, floor and was an attic style which suited me. No view as such, but a huge amount of space, some of it unusable, due to the inclination of the attic.||Morning breakfast can be included for 9euros. It is a simple fare, coffee, juice, croissant and a crisp bread roll, yoghurt, cheese and some olive oil. Plenty for me and delivered to your room. There is no restaurant or meals area here.||Stay away from 403 if you can, directly opposite the staff work room and food prep area. it also received laundry deliveries at all hours and will wake you up, if you are a light sleeper.||The staff are pleasant and responsive.|I will stay here again.

The hotel is in one of the BEST locations for seeing Madrid.||The rooms were fine, and most of the staff was great. The rating was hurt by a woman working the night shift. She had locked the front door before nine (four-star hotels should never have a locked door) and it took her a good five to ten minutes to answer our ringing and ringing of the door. When she did arrive she was very agitated, never spoke a word, tossed us our keys, and walked back upstairs away from the front desk. A perfect example of how one employee can ruin a business.||That said good value and a great location.

I stayed in this hotel for four nights with my family (my wife and two daughters) in early April 2024.|We found the hotel to be great accommodation for a short break in Madrid. It is extremely well located with all the city centre sights in easy walking distance. |The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and eager to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. On arrival, check-in was easy, with the chap on reception providing a map and pointing out all the local sights as well as offering any restaurant advice if we needed it.|The room / suite was spacious with all the amenities you could require, including a safe and toiletries (including toothbrushes and toothpaste - which was very handy as my wife and I both forgot ours!). The beds were very clean and very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily with beds made and fresh towels, etc.|During our stay, my youngest daughter managed to lose two of her soft toys in the hotel (!!!) and the man on reception helped us and actually found them for us (avoiding disaster :-) ). I really get the impression the staff at the hotel really wanted to ensure we enjoyed our trip and that nothing was too much trouble.|Lots of great places for breakfast and to eat/drink very near-by e.g. on Plaza de Santa Ana, Calle del Prado, Plaza de Angel, etc and surrounding streets. Small, great, very friendly, coffee shop immediately opposite the hotel.|There is also a small, well stocked, supermarket located on Calle del Leon (about a 5 minute walk).|Really enjoyed the trip and our stay at the Suite Prado Hotel.

Suite Prado is a small and lovely hotel close to many restaurants (Spanish, Chinese, Mexican, Argentinian, Peruvian), cafes, plazas (squares) and places of interest. Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful, whether for information about the hotel or places to see and directions. Our room was well-appointed and surprisingly spacious: separate bedroom (comfy bed), and living room with a small kitchenette. We had a choice of three French balconies from which to view the street and activity. I would certainly stay at Suite Prado again and recommend it to all my friends. A lovely place. Room photos on their site are accurate. Our stay was Sept 20 to 23, 2023.

The Apartment was noisy, and all noise from neighbors came in. Also noises from the street came in all night, even if all windows were closed. Even earplugs did not help and it was impossible to sleep before 4.00am. Air-conditioning did not work either and because of the noise, it was impossible to keep the windows open. Fridge was not working. Some good was that the apartment was spacious and had 3 balconies. Location was good. This is not the place for you if you like to sleep.

We arrived on a stormy day, without umbrellas. The lobby person was very friendly but couldn't speak English very well and the second one that arrived couldn't speak at all. That particular lady wasn't at all helpful, with her "best" moment when she called a taxi for the airport and after 15 minutes she told us to go to the streets to look for one becouse she didn't know when it was coming...|Let's see the good things about the hotel: It is on a perfect place, close to the centre and all the attractions. Nearby, there are some fantastic restaurants (Italian and Argentinian) which is nice when you travel with a child.|But...: The hotel was terrible noisy. We were listening everything from the rooms next door (babies crying, toilets working, laughs). Another thing was the club close to the hotel. We were listening loud music all night...Very bad place for a quite sleep. |Breakfast in the room, was nice at first day, but it was too boring eating the same things every morning afterwards. |There was a big problem with the power outlets in the room. Most of them didn't work, so if we wanted to charge phones or tablet, we had no lights...|The room service was great. Helpful, smiley and adorable people, even if we communicated with Google Translate. Just the opposite to the the middle-aged lady on the lobby, which she shouldn't work on tourism...|My general opinion about this hotel is...AVOID IT.

Hotel location is good and price quite okay. However, when checking out, we were forced to pay an extra of EUR 22 for an extra bed for our 5 year old son that we have never received, so he had to sleep on the couch. So customer service is very bad and would notnrecommend this place.
