Hotel Casa Bahía Cozumel

This is a great hotel choice if you want to save a little money. I pay a little more to get an ocean view and on the top floor if possible. Great little kitchenettes with a larger fridge, clean place, always someone at the front desk and they are always pleasant. The rooms are nice and water pressure in the shower was good. You can pretty much walk where ever you need to go. Except some of the out of town places you might want to venture out to.

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is served at another hotel(same owners) about a block down the waterfront and is top notch! Rooms are cleaned daily and are left sparking clean! They provide in each room a refrigerator, microwave, silverware, plates, and cups. Each room also has its own air conditioning so you can make it as cold or as warm as you want. It's located right in the middle of downtown and just about everything is within walking distance. I don't think you could get anything better at $50usd/night.

I like this hotel for the cost and proximity to the square, restaurants, and dive shop. Rooms are spacious and clean with kitchenettes. This is not a high end hotel, no beach or pool. I'm a scuba diver and this hotel offers everything I need for the perfect dive vacation. Not all rooms have a view, you need to request one.

We booked our stay with Suites Bahia but they are currently closed so our reservation was transferred to their sister hotel Casa Mexicana (this was communicated to us a day before we were scheduled to arrive and you can currently book stays at both Suites Bahia and Suites Colonial through any booking website or even their own business website even though both are currently closed). Casa Mexicana was fine but we booked Suites Bahia with included breakfast buffet but when going to breakfast on the first morning at Casa Mexicana we were told that our "included" breakfast was only fruit and toast. If we wanted anything else we needed to pay extra. Our booking at Suites Bahia would've included more than just fruit and toast. We tried to talk to the front desk but was referred to management but they were coincidentally not there at that time. The location is decent but the view is pretty obstructed with the style of building. The pool is pretty small and in the lobby. Once you exit the hotel you are in the oven front street with lots of shops so you will be hassled to go into their stores. We were on the 2nd floor and our wifi almost never worked except a few times when we didn't even need it, we realized it was connected.

I stay here regularly. The hotel is conveniently located and close to restaurants and shopping. I travel solo to Cozumel, and go scuba diving. I feel safe staying at Suites Bahia. There is a frig, microwave and they provide utensils if you decide to buy food or snacks from the Mega Store. Breakfast buffet is provided at no extra charge for each guest at Casa Mexicana Hotel two blocks over. It's a great place to stay.

Very nice for the price, upgrade to a room with a balcony. Rooms have kitchens with sinks, refrigerator and silverware. Beds are hard but you get used to it.

Suites Bahia is a quaint, clean, well located Inn in San Miguel right on the water. Beds are comfy, AC works and the staff are friendly..

Exactly what you'd expect for their price. Nice place working A/C small bathroom and kitchenette. Great for all duration of stays.
