We had an unplanned stay here. I was exhausted and quite tired. The staff was excellent and helped make it a wonderful experience. Close to the port and several restaurants close by. I want to come back on purpose for a stay. Definitely recommend!

Good place to stay. The hotel is close to the city centre and it's definitely walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was perfectly fine, spacious and clean. As a guest you can use the gym that's in the same building definitely a good place to stay if you're in town!

The hotel is, generally, old. I think it was built in 2005 because the elevators have been installed in this year. The rooms are spacious, but old. Before Suittes Hotel, this hotel was a Mercure Hotel, and I think that the actual hotel wanted not to spend money on renovation. The room I stayed was close to the avenue and it was noisy even during night. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, which was basic and had not much variety, (and one person from staff who had a scooter parked it in the kitchen, which is just behind the buffet) with weird cakes that seemed old and fruits that were not fresh. The staff is good. This hotel has a lot of potential, but has to be explored further.

Very good. I stayed in the double-bed apartment. It is very ample and comfortable, considering the cost-benefit. The attendants were extremely gentle and caring all the time. The gym offered as a courtesy at the same building is a fantastic gift.

I booked the 2 bed penthouse apartment which was advertised as having a full kitchen. Check in was smooth. The staff are very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable but we were missing 1 towel set. Reception said they had been having problems with towels and could not even give us a hand towel. So 3 of us had to share 2 bath towels. The kitchen was not as described. There was no kettle or microwave. There was barely enough crockery and there was no food prep crockery at all. Luckily, we were able to purchase a kitchen knife and other things from the local supermarket. The coffee machine was temperamental and whilst reception kept insisting that it could dispense hot water for tea, the reality was that it only dispensed water if there was a coffee pod in it. Tea and coffee facilities were poor. Thankfully, we had brought our own supplies. The teacups are like thimbles. Get larger disposable cups from the casino. We used the restaurant 1 night and ordered room service on another night. Food was hot and tasty but nothing special. Very limited menu. Red wine was chilled rather than room temperature but the staff very helpfully hunted me down a bottle that hadn't yet been put in the fridge. It meant I had to buy the whole bottle rather than having the 1 glass. The rest of the bottle went down the sink - it wasn't great tasting wine so I didn't cry about it. The view from the room was great - it was the best thing about it. We didn't use the balcony but noticed that it had 2 sun lounges (sans cushions) on it as well as the table with 4 chairs. All in all, the stay was adequate (we finally got the right amount of towels on day 2 and a kettle on day 3). 🙂

Room was big and bed comfortable but: There was a weird chemical smell inside, the bathroom was super tiny you had to squeeze between toilet bowl and sink, the view was on a very ugly wall, entrance to underground garage is very narrow, you have to manoeuvre tight, and breakfast was just so-so. All in all not at all a Mercure standard. Staff was nice enough though. Too expensive for such low standard.

Not a good start they wouldn't let us check in early telling us all rooms were occupied, i find that difficult to believe given the size of the hotel and the amount of people we saw. The receptionist came across as being very unhelpful. They charge for overnight parking and its expensive, lots of free parking near, we could see our car from our room maybe 200 metres away. Room was nice and clean, gym was small and a lot of people so not able to use it. We stayed to have time in Gibraltar, I wouldn't stay here again.
