Beautifully secluded property. 45min driving to Jaisalmer.|There are 20 real tents, which are super luxurious. The only downside is the really noisy airco. Even on the lowest fan speed, we needed earplugs.|Bed is extra large and comfortable. Bathroom is large, with a very good open shower.|Staff is extremely attentive and they made every effort to make it an exceptional stay. Thank you to the whole team!|We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were all very nice.|The pool was nice and fresh. We loved the quietness and remoteness of the property!

Truly an oasis amongst the wilderness. Never thought such a wonderful place existed in India. There are only 20 odd tents I believe and the whole place is outstanding from the moment you arrive. The service is impeccable , the tents truly 5 star along with the wonderful food and communal areas. ||All the staff were fantastic throughout and attend to our every whim and request without any hesitation.||The spa was excellent and the therapists highly trained .||Food was excellent and no request was a problem . Given how remote and boutique this place is it is amazing that they can achieve such a high standard . Would like to thank all the staff in particular Monishca and Vikas Thakur. |The pool area along with the private pool in the tent are a sight to be seen and exquisite. On various evenings they have local singers and dancers and the shows are spectacular.||We done the ‘sunset downer ‘ excursion which was amazing and highly recommended.||Will definitely be back.

My family booked 2 tents at the Serai camps near the start of our India tour. After the trip, I asked my family what their favorite stay was and it was the Sujan Serai. The "tents" were really comfortable...better than some of the Oberoi's we stayed in during the trip. It was pretty cold during our stay, however the heater and space heaters kept our tents comfy. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and provided hot water immediately. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Given it's remote location, don't plan to venture off campus for other dining options. If you're into bird-watching, you've come to the right place.||We had hot coffee delivered to our room early each day. Service and house-keeping were top notch. ||Proximity to Jaiselmer is a plus - we loved visiting the fort in Jaiselmer.||Finally, special mention for Tambal who took such great care of my family....especially my daughter.||We loved our stay here, and arguably it was the best part of our trip to India.||Sincerely,||Chung, Kavita, Vivek, and Saachi

From your arrival|to your departure, you’ll experience peace and calm of this luxury site.|The tents are spacious and airy with a huge bathroom, sitting area and an outside sitting area. |Our meals were superb as were the attentive staff. The nearby pool was immaculate.|I’d recommend the thrilling dune visit, with the most excellent of drivers’ and guide- pointing out the wildlife en route and the night sky on our return made for an unforgettable experience and memories to savour

We had heard a lot of positive things about this resort, so we decided to visit this place for lunch during our stay in Jaisalmer. It's about 45 minutes drive from town in a very remote and quiet area. There is nothing nearby. Once you enter you only hear the sounds of birds chirping and wind blowing.|Since we had already booked the table for lunch, they took us in the dining room which was huge but all tables were placed at good distance. When we told them that we are interested to have a look at the property, they immediately assigned a person to show us around. The resort is spread over 100 acres. They have 21 luxury tents with private bathrooms. Some of the tents had plunge pools. The royal tent had heated pool, spa and big private ground for outdoor seating. They had a big pool and a boutique shop also for guests. The bar cum library was awesome with top quality wooden furniture.|For lunch they had a la carte menu and thali. We decided to have veg Rajasthani thali. The food was very fresh and delicious. We were told that they grow all vegetables in their own nearby farm. |The décor in entire resort was classy. The use all foldable furniture as the resort is closed during extreme summer and reopen in October. As far as service was concerned, we did not expect to get such a royal treatment only for lunch. They looked after us very well during our two hours stay. Thanks Siddharth Jyoti, butler Parameshawar, Tambal F&B Koshal Kumar, Rajendar and chef Rawlsingh and Mehandar. |It was a memorable outing for us...

The Serai was the final hotel at the end of our 10 day trip and we could not have asked for a better ending! We were a family of 5 and stayed for 2 nights. From the moment you arrive until your departure, the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is a truly memorable one. The tents are incredibly appointed with the most beautiful amenities by Kama Ayurveda. The setting is incredibly peaceful and the surroundings just stunning.||During our stay we did a sunrise yoga session (fantastic), visited the kitchen garden before joining a cookery lesson and did the most wonderful jeep safari to the dunes. Every activity was perfect but sitting out on the dunes watching the sunset with a glass of champagne in hand takes a lot of beating!||To all the staff, we'd like to say a huge 'thank you' - how you manage to ensure that a camp such as this has such a welcoming 'home from home' feel is a testament to everyone at The Serai. ||But we would like to say a special thank you to Tambal, our amazing 'butler' who joined us for all our activities and was the most wonderful guide on the safari. Thanks too to the kitchen team who led the culinary experience, shared their knowledge and tips and even gave us some spices to take home: I'm certainly looking forward to my husband and kids recreating the delicious food they cooked for me at The Serai!
