The boat is on a fairly quiet part of the lake but busy enough to watch various vendors and people passing up and down the.||The boat is clean and tidy, comfortable beds, good hot water in bathroom.||Food is very local and tasty. The staff are polite and helpful. The host mansour is very welcoming, entertaining and friendly. He was there to help with questions and stories of life on the lake.||We were a family of seven and had the boat to ourselves which was great as we could enjoy every aspect of the lake with just us

Deco on houseboat shows good craftsmanship, room was very comfortable, food was excellent, service was impeccable, view of Dal Lake with the surrounding Himalaya mountains were stunning and complementary shikari ride was smooth. Will be back.

And what a memorable experience it has been !||The Sukoon houseboat itself is a truly luxurious home and compares with any of the best star hotels that we have stayed at !||What stood out and made the experience so special was the staff and the service !
