Sula Vineyards is undeniably beautiful—rolling vineyards, scenic views, and a relaxing ambiance make it a lovely getaway from the city. The grounds are well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels upscale and curated for a pleasant day out. That said, it’s very expensive for what you get. Wine tastings, food, and even basic experiences are priced at a premium, and not always justified by the quality. It feels more commercial than authentic at times, catering heavily to tourists rather than wine enthusiasts. Worth a visit for the views and photos, but go in knowing it’s more about the setting than the wine itself.

My visit to Sula Vineyard was a refreshing change from the usual city pace. Even though I don’t drink alcohol, I found the place surprisingly enjoyable and worth the experience. The lush greenery, expansive vineyard views, and the calm, open-air vibe gave it a serene, vacation-like feel. It’s the kind of place where time slows down just enough for you to soak in the moment. I spent most of my time strolling around the vineyard and clicking pictures—the landscape is picture-perfect, especially around sunset when the golden light hits the vines. The architecture of the property feels rustic yet classy, and there are enough cozy spots to sit and relax for hours. Their café and restaurant spaces have a relaxed charm, offering a variety of vegetarian options, though I wish there were more innovative dishes on the menu for non-drinkers like me. Still, the wood-fired pizza and cheese platter were surprisingly good. What I liked most was how the place isn’t just about wine—it’s about the experience. Even without a wine-tasting session, there was enough to explore and enjoy. The gift shop is great for souvenirs, and the staff were courteous and didn’t pressure us into taking any tours we weren’t interested in. Overall, Sula was more about the peaceful escape, the vibes, and the views than the wine itself for me. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic day trip or a calm weekend break—even if you’re not into wine, there’s still something beautiful to take away from the experience.

Recently visited Sula Vineyard and what an amazing experience it was! Whether you’re with friends, family or just looking for a refreshing escape from the city, this place is so worth it. Just a few hours from Pune or Mumbai, it makes for a perfect weekend getaway. The estate is absolutely picturesque, straight out of a Pinterest board. Sprawling greenery, aesthetic spots and those giant wine bottles in the fields are a photo op you just can’t miss! The wine tasting session was one of the highlights — fun, informative and a great way to understand the craft behind every glass. The cover charge is ₹600 per person, which you can redeem for wine tasting, purchases at the gift shop or even buying a bottle of your favorite wine 🍾. They also have an in-house restaurant, so you can sip, savor and soak in the vineyard vibes all in one place. Insider tip: The best time to visit is January to April. That’s when the vineyard is lush with grapes and you might even get to try grape stomping 🍇 (a total bucket list moment!) All in all, this one’s a must-visit. We loved every bit of it and would definitely recommend planning your visit during the harvest season for the full experience.

Perfect place to visit. Makes the Wine Capital of India earn its name. The place is very clean and well maintained. The prices told by other reviews was also perfect, ₹1000 per head for entry on weekend and ₹700 for wine tour and tasting combined. The tour is really good and the tasting is fun with well learned guidance. Kudos to owner and team

Located in Nashik, Sula Vineyards is an ideal spot for a day out with friends or family. The best time to visit is during the monsoon season, when the entire estate is surrounded by lush green hills, adding to its charm. You can take a guided tour to learn about the wine-making process and enjoy tasting various wines—though this experience does come at a cost. I visited on a weekend and paid an entry fee of ₹1500 per person. However, this amount is redeemable against purchases at their in-house restaurants or when buying wine. It’s a well-curated experience that blends nature, knowledge, and a little indulgence—definitely worth a visit!

Sula provides a unique experience in India with a resort in a wine yard. The wine yard is beautifully maintained. They have many photography points with the wine yard in the background. There is a wine bar on the first floor overlooking the wine yard. Service here is slow and poor. There is a gift shop which is less than impressive. You can buy wine produced in house. Again they need more customer service people to serve people quickly, however the service is of good quality. There is an entry fee and the cost can be redeemed against winery tour, wine tasting, buying or in the wine bar. However, this is not highlighted when you buy the entry ticket which is a shame. I would have given a four and a half star rating. Poor service at the wine bar and lack of explanation how to redeem the ticket cost leave a sour after taste.

Sula Vineyard is definitely a place worth visiting with family and friends. If you’re a wine lover, that just makes the experience even better – icing on the cake! We reached around 4 PM, which was a bit late. I’d highly recommend starting early and arriving by 10–11 AM to enjoy the vineyard at a relaxed pace. The entire property is beautifully maintained and perfect for those who love posting aesthetic pictures on Instagram – it’s truly a visual treat! The entry fee is ₹1000 per person (kids go free), and this amount can be redeemed at the restaurant or for the wine tour. However, be aware that the restaurant is quite pricey, so using it for the wine tour is a better deal. The wine tour, priced at ₹700 per person, is an enjoyable and informative experience. They walk you through the wine-making process and give you a peek into the barrel storage area. Among the wines we tasted, the Moscato (sparkling wine) stood out as the best – light, refreshing, and delicious. You’ll need at least 2–3 hours to explore the property at ease, soak in the views, and take some great photos. Bonus: it’s a dog-friendly location, so if you’re traveling with your fur baby, this is a great spot to include in your itinerary.

An unforgettable experience at Sula Vineyards! The guided tour was both informative and engaging, offering insights into the winemaking process. The wine tasting session featured six distinct varieties, each with its unique flavor profile. The vineyard’s lush surroundings and serene ambiance added to the charm. Dining at their on-site restaurants, especially Little Italy, was a treat—delicious food paired perfectly with their wines. A must-visit for wine enthusiasts and those looking to unwind amidst nature.
