Sullivans Cove Apartments

Excellent apartments right in the heart of the historic waterfront. A little bit of a hike to get into from street with a number of security doors and fobs - but maybe that’s a good thing. Overall the rooms were superb in the 3 bedroom apartment we had with the master hosting stunning views and the servants quarters well appointed albeit a bit warm ;) Would highly recommend the apartment for families and groups with excellent kitchen facilities and lounge/living areas.

Affordable for a 2 bedroom apartment. Close to the wharf area. Somehow the actual apartments are a little bit clinical inside though so it's not exactly homy. The lighting was interesting, struggled to get much quality light, for some reason it was dim. You get some good views of the city and some of the water. There was plenty of space for a family in the penthouse apartment. My friend got the huge king room so that is definitely the pick. If the apartment was more soundproof it would definitely improve my rating. Plus my bathroom (the 2nd bathroom) smelled so I kept trying to run water etc as it smelled septic like. This definitely brought my rating down.

The Kelly street apartment (1 of the few apartments they have) is a modern studio apartment with great location to Salamanca place access. It comes with reserved car park next to the apartment (access by Prince of wales hotel car park). Apartment is immaculate, but trip.com says laundry service is onsite. Do not mistake as there’s washing machine. It does not have a washing machine onsite. They provided housekeeping to pick up laundry and drop off later the day, assuming it’s dry. It was damp when returned so they have to take time to pick it up once again to dry before dropping it back later. A lot of hassle without onsite washing machine/dryer. Also the shower room access has no door to the bedroom, and the natural light from the roof in the bathroom whilst beautiful in day time, it can’t be totally shut out in the bedroom. There’s a microwave and no stovetop nor kitchen sink. Just bathroom sink. Service is great and bed is comfortable.

Stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom Wapping appartments in Collins street Hobart. Appartment was great except for a few small things. Carpet in lounge/ dining area was very dirty and could do with a good clean. May in lounge room was also very dirty. Windows looked like they had not been cleaned for a very long time. Food marks on kitchen walls. Front door handle very loose. |Apartment was very close to centre of town which was great for dinner and drinks. 5 minute walk to Salamanca markets. Overall very happy with appartment if not a bit overpriced.

The 2bed executive apartment right at the Hobart harbour front is well appointed. Beds are comfortable, two separate bathrooms (one has laundry facilities in it), spacious living area. The location is ideal and everything is in walking distance. Great entertainment and the Saturday Salamanca Market are only a short stroll away. Staff at reception were excellent and checking in was a breaze. Apartment security is very good with key and electronic entry to the building. Our 6 night stay was pleasant and we did not experience any noise disturbance from other apartments. Pricing is more than justified for the quality of the apartment. Will definitely stay again.

It's a fantastic spot to stay right on the wharfs with nice views. The 2 bedroom apartment was very upmarket and as we didn't hire a car for our stay, it was easy to walk everywhere. There are so many places to eat. The bed was very comfy too. Highly recommend this one.

We stayed at Salamanca Docklands. There were negatives with this apartment such as no privacy in bathrooms with glass doors, and holes cut into the glass. In particular the ensuite had no bathroom door and the person lying in bed could see the person in the shower. We got around this by opening the cupboard inside the ensuite to provide some sort of privacy and the cupboard outside facing the bedroom to block off the shower. The dining chairs need to be replaced as the leather is torn and missing. The lounges are not comfortable at all. We had internet for 2 days of our 7 day stay only which was frustrating.|However that is where the negatives end. The staff tried everything to get the internet functioning again but unfortunately it was out of their control. They kept me fully informed throughout the process. The beds were very comfortable, apartment atmosphere was amazing being in one of the old warehouses with beautiful brickwork, large windows and location was second to none. Literally walked out the door and was in the middle of the markets, restaurants, cafes, shops. I would definitely stay here again and fully recommend to anyone looking at accommodation in Hobart.

We stayed in one of the IXL penthouses and I was very pleasantly surprised how lovely the property was, while being good value for money compared to the usual/chain/shoebox sized accom options. It was so spacious with great views and very easy to live in. Everything we needed was supplied. Very happy with our choice.
