Stopped by Sully’s during a road trip and it effectively made all other ice cream I tried during the trip taste poor in comparison.
I grabbed the black raspberry cheesecake ice cream and it has to be the only cheesecake ice cream I’ve tasted that doesn’t actually have any cheesecake chunks in it, but that actually still tastes like cheesecake.
The flavours were light enough that it wasn’t overwhelming and strong enough that it didn’t just taste like cream. It was also perfectly sweet - ideal for anyone who’s diabetic or looking to enjoy a sweet treat while cutting down on the sugar.
They also had a large variety of flavours to choose from including butter pecan, orange pineapple, raspberry cheesecake and classics like Neapolitan and sorbets. You also get to choose from a variety of hand made waffle cones or a cup.
Many other items are also available for purchase such as milkshakes, raspberry cordial, candy etc.
A couple things to keep in mind when visiting Sully’s Ice Cream Parlour:
- The flavours are on the lighter side, so if you are looking for a stronger, much bolder flavour ice cream experience, you’re better off going to the DQ down the road.
- Portion sizes are not massive like at big chains and a little goes a long way, so be careful of what size you’re ordering. I got a baby size and it was perfect for me.
If you are looking for some light, flavourful, fresh and creamy ice cream experience, Sully’s Ice Cream Parlour is the way to go.
